Gays should be able to marry. Easy.
I'd appreciate a response to my question as well, if you don't mind.
SuitSnob is his own individual person so no one can answer "why" HE has his opinion of you and others. My overall thought from observing this
thread and other threads with discussions about personal situation is that the original poster (for ANY thread) puts his/her personal business out there so of
course that's going to draw the ire, opinions, and questioning from those reading the thread. The readers respond (whether it's asking questions or
just blatantly ripping the poster) and a cycle of he/she is hypocritical/judging/attacking/etc. starts from both sides.
To me, whatever category the person fits in with (gays, housewives, blacks, women, men, etc.) becomes the subject of attention and then there is the perception
of a line being drawn and it comes across as "us versus them".
The question from the one poster asked why should gays "respect" the sanctity of marriage when they are not granted that privilege in the first
place. I see that as a different question than "should gays be allowed to marry". I'd love to hear nonTC responses to this question.
