Eccleston was probably the most intense Doctor.
That bit where Rose saved her dad from being run over... he looked so freaking ticked off. Just realised how much I miss Rose. *trying to get the Queen to say "We are not amused."* |

Here's a massive (160GB) torrent of the first 5 doctors (seasons 1-19). Iffen you don't want to download the whole thing, get a torrent client

Anyone see episode 3 and 4 of the first season of dr who latlely? Gwen Is on there as a girl named gwyneth in 1869 Cardiff. She is on the rift and opens it!
And....it's the same girl as from Torchwood, Gwen!! Eve Myles! Then in episode 4 is Tosh, when the scarsomeor others try to take over downing street.
Sorry I'm new here but have been watching the Dr since 1970 something and this just tells me they have been planningTorchwood since they brought back the dr. |

torchwood was already an idea that needed a context, when they started developing the new Dr. Who series it made sense to tie it to the Doctor's
universe...

I think the Torchwood concept went through when Capt. Jack was a huge hit in the 2 eps in the first season that he was in.
Tonight's Who episode was great. I love Doctor Who. I have only watched a couple Torchwoods - I'm just planning on doing a marathon of it soon. They film both near my friends flat in Cardiff. |

Dr Who starts a new season on Sci Fi either this week or next - vegaz, it's an old series that was originally on the BBC from 1963-1989, the it was revived
in 2005. It's on either SciFi or the BBC America channel, though BBC America is a season behind the SciFi channel which is usually a season behind the BBC
shows. Torchwood is on BBC America and runs a bit behind the BBC shows timewise - we didn't get it here until 2007
Torchwood is definitely not old people stuff - it's moe of a cross between Van Helsing and Buffy but with an adult and not a teenage cast. And it's very steamy for TV and the main character is bi |
