I'm pretty sure the official press release about the CD said LAA will be on there as part of the regular track list.

Every piece of video I've seen of him singing LAA has been beautiful. And live and in person? Gut-wrenching and gorgeous.

He's out as CEO but he remains as Chief Creative Officer...
Davis has also been influential in the careers of the winners of "American Idol," guiding their albums to mostly platinum successes. Last year, however, he disagreed with the direction of Kelly Clarkson's "My December," and she publicly criticized him; the album was a flop, and she later apologized. They make it sound like she apologized for the album flopping

not to mention his saying the Avril's last CD was the best music he'd heard in years which is a sure sign of senility IMOAvril's CD is actually a lot of fun to listen to. |

Sony-BMG Reshuffles, Gives Clive Davis A Gentle Shove
Peter Kafka | April 17, 2008 6:25 PM What do you do when your industry is in a death spiral? Reshuffle your management ranks. EMI is in the midst of a headache-inducing org chart overhaul, and Sony-BMG just announced its own moves. OUT: Charles Goldstuck, former President and COO of the BMG unit and a one-time rising star; Tim Bowen, Sony-BMG COO. UP: Barry Weiss, former President and COO of Zomba Label Group (Britney, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys et al), is now Chairman and CEO of BMG. PUSHED POLITELY ASIDE: Clive Davis, former BMG Chairman and CEO, is now "Chief Creative Officer", a title we don't believe existed before, and which we're interpreting as "honorific title because we don't want to or can't fire you". Clive is a legendary figure in the business, and the kind of legendary figure who doesn't mind telling you that he's a legendary figure, so this move is important for that reason. But in the big picture, this is unlikely to matter much: The people who aren't buying CDs anymore have never heard of Clive Davis. Press release for music industry Kremlinologists follows. http://www.alleyinsider.com/2008/4/sony_bmg_reshuffles_gives_clive_davis_a_shove |

So today I unleashed my inner Claymate! Clay Aiken is so popular it's unreal. Did Clay Aiken dance? Yes. Did he sing an irreverent Jew-related song on Passover? Yes. Was he funny? Yes. Did I clap with reckless abandon? Yes. Yes. Yes. I bought our tickets a few days ago, before the whole Dadchuleta-Gate and Rickey.org torching, so it turned out to be perfect timing that I watched Clay Aiken in Spamalot this afternoon with richie. It was so much fun, and even when Clay Aiken is no longer in the cast, I hope Spamalot goes on forever. The Knights who say 'Ni', the Black Knight, the sentimental favorite "Always Look at the Bright Side of Life" (from The Life of Brian), they were all there. A great show. Afterwards, richie gave a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and we got a picture with Clay Aiken! Clay is such a pro, even if it was obvious that he was over-worked, he asked for our names, shook our hands (yup, with the very hands that Kelly Ripa despises) and smiled for our photo op. Thanks Clay! And thanks richie for a great Saturday afternoon. Want to help Equity Fights AIDS? Here are some items you can bid for an eBay: Clay

Sneaking in here to say I can't wait for Clay's new album. I love his voice, I don't care what that says about me.
