Lucky for us that I have that prediction spreadsheet where nearly all of us picked Detroit to win the Central...

I didn't pick Detroit. But I also made the assumption Joe Blow wouldn't blow a key save in the worst possible way this early in the season. And the
Royals/Nats bet is still on.

I'm feeling much better about my pick of Detroit winning the central than I am of picking the Mets to go 162-0

Sucks for them. I dont think any team has ever come back after being behind 5 games in early April. |

If the Royals and Nats make it to the WS, I'd say I'd buy $100 JCPenney giftcards to a few members of this board. Of course if that were to happen, it
would prove my hypothesis that what happens in sports is dependent on god hating me. Shit, I'd deserve a World Series ring if the Royals or Nats were to
win it all.

Gagne's second blown save in three tries.

Was that the sound of Eric Gagne falling apart? I think it was.

Don't worry Milwaukee. The Sox were able to win the WS last year despite Gagne. The goal should be to get at least 10 runs every outing, eliminating the
need for Gagne to attempt a save.

Interesting note- Jamie Moyer is 17 months older than Shea stadium.

The Brewers bullpen can NOT find the strike zone tonight.
