I thought Jason was particularly raspy-voiced, and in a bad, Archuleta sorta way. Maybe next week Jason could sing Tiny Bubbles
FYI last night on Larry King, Randy said he wouldn't sign Jason for a record deal but he would KKKristy. |

3. Jason Castro - "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" (Judy Garland via Israel Kamakawiwo'ole)
It's very much like the late Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version complete with ukelele. Simple, sweet and a little soft. He effed up the words midway through. It was good, but it seemed to be missing the spark that "Hallelujah" had. Good enough for a 7 though. Randy: JC is back in the hunt to win it tonight. That was HAWT! Best so far. Paula: You have the most definitive sound. Perfect song for you. Simon: The was the version of the internet we heard by Israel. First time I heard it ok, second time good, third time (this one) FANTASTIC! |
