Chalk me up as one of those people who like both RATM and Chris Cornell yet the two of them together is "meh". It's especially weird since my one
complaint about RATM (like ILL said) has always been that couldn't fucking stand the singer's voice, whereas Chris's voice I totally dig. Yet
despite that, I still feel that RATM >>>>>>>>>>> Audioslave.
Army of Anyone and Velvet Revolver also have musicians lineups that sound kick ass on paper but have left me totally indifferent. I guess there's just something about blended bands that doesn't seem to work. |

Soundgarden >>>>> Audioslave
I love Audioslave's first album, but the other two are complete shit. |

I was never a huge RATM fan... All their songs started to sound the same to me after a while. But Chris Cornell anything is great.
As for Velvet Revolver, I do so love Scott Weiland, that I felt compelled to enjoy. |

I always thought Audioslave lacked the punch of RATM, the mellow passion of Temple of the Dog, and the freshness of Soundgarden. That left them a completely
mediocre band imho.

Yeah yeah yeah...
Can't we all just agree that "Like A Stone" is a great song??? Because it is. |

I guess I am in the minority here. RATM was okay and I hated Soundgarden yet I really like Audioslave.

I'm not a big Zack de la Rocha fan either, but his voice just goes with RATM sound.

All the songs sound the same! Count me disappointed.
Chris has moments of hotness.. and moments of crazed weirdness. <3

Slight thread derailment...
Velvet Revolver have fired Scott Weiland. Methinks there might me a Guns-N-Roses reunion in our future. DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE? |

I don't care how well Zach's voice goes with Rage's music....I just hate any whiny little rich white kid who acts like he's been oppressed and
thinks it entitles him to use the "n" word.
