I hope it's a dance challenge! It doesn't seem like they're much paying attention to the location this season, but I think it would be interesting
to have a navigation challenge, too. Some native person shows everyone three stars, then they have to end up on some other island by dawn.
(If I understand this right, Yap still actually uses those giant stones for money. They have like dollar bills if they were just going to get a coke or something, but if you were buying like a house, you would use the giant stone. The nifty thing is you don't have to keep it in the bank, you can just lay it around the front yard like a junk car. Everyone knows which stones everyone has, so there's no point in stealing them.) |

Oh well... it's good to know MB and them have some limits. Combining the coconut chop and the sewer grate challenges, so that instead of publicly
humiliating the least popular person you watched them drown, probably would have been over the top... "Kittens in a bag" would probably be a bad
challenge, too...
I'm completely blanking on what they've done in the past with exile once individual challenges start. |

Seems like they'd do something differently this year? I seem to remember whoever wins the II gets to send whomever to exile....Ozzie should be going there

The breathing challenge for first individual IC makes all kinds of sense but usually when they merge there is no RC. Is the disgusting food maybe from a future episode? I know they've used disgusting food for IC in teams, but I don't remember it being IC in individual challenges, so I'm inclined to think it's a future RC. And Ewww. That bat is maybe one of the worst things they've had. Bleh. |

Fruit Bat Soup is considered a Palau delicacy. It eats
nothing but fruit so is probably leaner,
tastier and with lower cholesterol than an 'eat anything' rat . . .
As birdlady pointed out in another thread, it was probably locals Joe and Edwin who told James fruit bats (not insect eating bats) were edible and we all know how hard James works at staying fed. |

Hi all My Name is ModestyBlaiser and I am a survivorholic... it has been four days since my last episode (not counting re-watches!) I first realised I had a problem when I started to find Rob Mariano attractive - nuff said. Introduction aside... nice to meet you all. My question is, What's that thing around Ozzy's neck in the preview snapshot above. I believed that Jason won II based on the air punches he was
throwing at what appeared to be the immunity challenge... was that a misdirection? I guess Jason is an odd sort of bloke so he really could be air-punching
for any reason. Also, other people seem to have acquired new necklaces in this episode so Ozzy's may just be part of the in-vogue Micronesian fashion of
the time.
