Radio Gods Don & Mike will become Radio God Mike O'Meara.
I'm not sure where they rank in a world of Opie & Anthony/Ron & Fez or the multi-talented Ryan Seacrest; but I'm sure someone will miss them. Just had to vent. Continue on with the half a cow discussion. |

I love Don & Mike.
Don's wife was killed in a car accident in 2005. He said that he feels that he never really recovered emotionally and needs to go find some peace. |

When I was trying to find out what happened, I read about that story. It's really sad. Freda's calls would always make me laugh.
I also read that he is quitting to spend more time with his girlfriend (!) and his son Bart, who's about to graduate Clemson. The article also cited his ongoing frustration with management. |

I used to live up the street (literally) from the Fairfax station. I spent many a college afternoon listening to them, never understood why they didn't
get more national acclaim. I honestly liked them better then Stern.

You lived in Toothless Downtown Fairfax Virginia?
Does anyone know where I can listen to them online? I will be in Las Vegas and I really would like to listen to Don's last show. The first show he did after his wife died had me in $*$%@. I can't listen to "Everlasting Love" without misting up. |

ssts at Toothless "Downtown" Fairfax. I think it's a stoplight at the intersections of 123 and 236 that constitute "downtown".
Greaseman sucks. He's made some really off color comments and I'm surprised he's finding his way back to the airwaves. His 'let's kill 4 more black people and take the whole week off' MLK day "joke" was repugnant. While Don and Mike are a great team, I found that Mike was the greater talent with his spot on impressions. While he was Don's straight man, he was the funnier of the two. I'd imagine Buzz will take a greater role and the show won't suffer much. |

they were really good at one point, tons more clever than most other shock jocks, but have sucked for a long time
