Still, this patent idea is dumb. Somebody's bound to have patented that before. Unless he really did figure out a way to get enough power to run a boombox off of a cell that size. He's supposed to be an aviation guy, not an electrical type. Now that the blonde's revealed as the psycho, I kinda already know what's about to happen, too. That twist totally snuck up on me initially. When will Catherine Keener learn to quit dismissing Ali's visions until they line up? No Bridget hatred? I thought she was going out of her way to be annoying, and I'm normally Bridget-friendly.

But I know what you mean. I watched it again this afternoon and something else I noticed - when Kenner is telling Ali about the latest missing girl, she said that she used her ATM card to buy expensive shoes. She could have meant before the kidnapping - but I was wondering if Joanna got sloppy and used the victim's ATM card? The time frame is strange to me - 8-9 years - has Joanna done this several times? It seems like a lot of missing girls - the guy said to her - you sure know how to pick 'em.

Complete with male serial killers as her goons. The buying of the heels was prolly cover to make the parents think the girl had run away again. In fact, I bet blonde bitch learned from her mistake with Keener's daughter to leave better cover -- her car intact, wallet still there, and in earshot of the church bells. My bet is that she prolly offed the initial goon when he got weak knees and found a new one. If the cycle hasn't repeated itself in multiples. BTW, there's a press announcement floating around that Kelly Preston's joining up for the final four eps, but it's mildly spoilerly as to her character's impact on things.

My heart is still racing from the last minute of that epi, with the girl's hand behind her back, obviously concealing a weapon... Yeah, I had suspected the blonde girl was in on it, too, even before they found her at the second one. This show is still great. Patricia Arquette is always wonderful, and Anjelica Huston is an awesome addition. Can't wait for next week!

And after weeks of Allison cowering in shame that her power doesn't work on command, she turns around & starts giving Cynthia pity face because she knows about the daughter. She just comes off as very needy sometime. Is it that hard to retrain a rocket scientist? Ok, so he can't work for either of the 2 companies in town, but nothing?? Craps, $240/week is $6/hour net.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Joe (and think he needs to leave the selfish woman who puts her boss above her hubby) but GO GET A JOB! I can't believe he's totally unemployable!

These are things that will allow some one to get a job, even though it's not in their trained profession. Or maybe instead of Joe being stuck as the rocket scientist, he could go back to school or get an internish and this way he can get some new knowledge and skill. But I see they want the tension between the pair to be used up some other way besides Allison supporting Joe while studying.

Fine, you won't have the same title & you'll have to get a little training, but it seems pretty clear that there has to be SOME job out there! I know I'm probably transfering my frustration w/ my stepson onto Joe -- $&%#* 20yr old know-it-all: he would rather be 'on call' to the sub-contractor for $15/hr than just get a real job that pays less per hour but has a set schedule. grrrrrr....

He always seems to be able to help out the kids with homework, projects, etc. Imagine him actually explaining, and the students learning physics with him at the chalkboard. I know if I had had a teacher that looked like him, I'd have made a real effort in math.

I was like, "Bitch, aren't you aware that they can check your cell phone records?!" Apparently they cannot. I thought it was a good episode, although I was slightly disappointed in the ending. It didn't feel satisfying, but hey, maybe that was the point. The Joe subplot with the invention is maddeningly annoying.

I can't imagine how the dynamics would work if they become uber wealthy. I was surprised and not surprised by the ending last night and like moovivor it left me unsatisfied. I think it's because Keener wasnted closure, but she was looking for a quick fix as well. I was actually kind of hoping that Allison would help cover it up, but it wouldn't be in either of their character to do so. I think Keener did the right thing in calling the police, I mean she spent her career looking for justice, and now she will have it for her daughter and for the bitch she murdered. And please do something proper with Brigitte's look/facial expressions. A new viewer wouldn't know that kid was a girl unless she would just start puberty and discovered she was growing breasts. she looks like a dirty boy with long hair. And she doesn't have to be angry looking all the time. It's not like she's cute when she makes those faces.
