Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison could have been the greatest, if it weren't for that fucking Julia Roberts movie that turned it into the anthem for tone
deaf drunk girls to belt out endlessly for the first half of the 90s.

Well, since there's no RUSH on the list, it's garbage. BUT, I'll have to support the next best thing..... Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Game Over.

I have but one question. How can you have a discussion of the best rock and roll songs of all time without Chuck Berry?

Sympathy for the Devil. My kid loves this song, too. He is good at the "woo woo" part. I'll second Alex Chilton. I'm in love. What's that song? I'm in love with that song. We need some Tom Petty in here, but I love pretty much everything he's got (except for stuff off of Echo), so I can't pick just one. |

No, chitforbrains, we're not having a discussion of 50s rock, we're having a discussion of the best rock songs.

Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison could have been the greatestI don't know. I'm really partial to "Cleaning Windows". I love that song. Agreeance that Brown Eyed Girl has been utterly ruined though, much like Tom Petty's Free Fallin (thanks to the psycho asswipe himself). What about Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend"? I heard that on the way home the other day and I was like, MAN, that is SO TRUE. lol
