So it will be between Orton/JBoLd/Matt Hardy for the next few months huh? I'm thinking that this would be a good time for me to give up on this eternally
slipping product.

I love Ric Flair, and the Four Horsemen, it is awesome to see them back together-- but I am getting a liiiitle tired of seeing Ric Flair cry.

I've been wanting Flair to retire for the last 10 years or so, but this is nice. I too am getting a little tired of seeing him cry, but am taking comfort
in the thougt of not having to see his floppy leathery boobs any more.

Yeah, this has actually turned out to be really cool- Ricky Steamboat, Greg Valentine, Harley Race, the Horsemen.... although I still think Flair is crying WAY
too much. :P But Flair is one of my all time faves and I'm sure it is emotional so I shouldn't fault him TOO much...

Kind of interesting seeing David and Reid Flaire again. Anyone else remember the WCW days when David Flaire tried wrestling for a while and had some goth chick
with him. And Reid Flaire was in on it to when he was like 11, the NWO beat the crap out of him, and I think kidnapped him.

The Flair thing was cool.
I met Flair many years ago and I was wearing my 4 Horsemen t-shirt. I remember he smiled when he saw it and said "That's a great shirt!" I also still have the figure he signed for me those many years ago. |

OMG I forgot all about that shit! I was wondering why he looked familiar. He definitely has porked up.

I think overrall this was one of the better Raws in a long time, the opening segment was kind of clever teasing who would be coming out as champion after the
biggest ppv of the year for people that missed it or dont have internet....
I also liked JBL coming out instead of Trips or Cena because it wasn't expected. Matt coming out was cool too just because maybe WWE is actually remembering a storyline about Orton putting Matt out for longer...I hope this was a one time thing though and Matt stays on Smackdown and starts his feud fresh with MVP. I'm happy that FINALLY Londrick got a win, over the champs no less...I hope this leads to something for Londrick and they can go back to being the best tag team...and Holly and Rhodes can finally either kiss, or start another lame feud. That was cool to see Cryme Tyme back...I don't really like them, but that was a big surprise. I didn't even see any spoilers online for that one....hopefully the tag division will stop being such a joke and they will start using real teams like them Deuce and Domino, Cade and Murdoch Jesse and Festus, and Londrick, instead of bullshit randomly thrown together teams like Rhodes and Holly, Carlito and Santino, and Miz and Morrison. I liked the Flair carreer highlights between commercial breaks....but it seems like they didnt show much WCW. The Punk vs Jericho match wasn't bad, but I hate Punk on Raw...unless he was there to cash in his MITB, stay the fuck on ECW...they should have at least made the match title vs briefcase, that would have made it much more interesting...it just seemed pretty pointless. Santino is of course always brilliant, and how true was what he said about the womens division being the bottom of the barrel? Having all the Divas come out was pretty stupid though....unless we are going to get a Santino run as womens champion....that would be brilliant....much much better than Harvey Wipleman as womens champion in the 90's. I liked the Matt vs Orton match, especially the ending since Orton didn't have to cheat to win, he just outsmarted Matt. I don't like Orton all the time as champion, but it's a lot worse when they make the champion never even be able to get a clean win and look like a complete pussy. I do think Big Show is a much better face than heel, he just seems like a nice guy and has a good sense of humor, I don't know why the fuck they tried to make him a heel against Mayweather, but at least they are finally giving him a face run again. I loved the fans chanting "You cant wrestle" to Khali...but where was Ranjin Singh? The Flair segment was good, especially when all the wrestlers came out and broke character...although it was disapointing that they didn't show Undertaker and Vince with him in the ring though. Seeing Vince break character would have made it seem a lot more special, I think. Anyway, I'm happy mania is over and we can finally get some new storylines, and hopefully Flair doesn't come back for "one more match" in a couple weeks and completely ruin everything. |

The Flair tribute at the end was awesome. But, he better fucking stay retired after all that.

After a send-off like that, there is absolutely no reason for him to wrestle again. Ever.

I still stick to JBoLd being a horrible choice for #1 contender. I dont think theres anyone out there who thinks that they'll put him over Orton after HBK,
Y2J, HHH, Hardy, and Cena didnt. This will probably be a short feud that will last 1 PPV and then, hopefully they'll put someone better up, likely HHH or
Cena again. Personally, I think that Big Show should be owed a title shot after he put over Floyd "waste of 20 mil" Mayweather.

I agree. I don't like the JBL character anyways, and him being #1 contender is just ridiculous, and means we'll be seeing more of him. Blech.

I like JBL since he is such a ruthless heel. He is more like an 80's heel, not afriad to hit a woman or a midget...but a heel vs heel feud with him and
Orton seems so pointless since fans really won't care about either of them. I really can't see them headlining a PPV with Orton vs JBL, if anything it
will be a triple threat with someone like Trips or Cena. I am happy that someone new is getting in on the picture though, Trips and Cena just seem way too
stale right now for another title reign...plus, those guys are already so over they don't really need the title.
What I would love to see is JBL winning the belt from Orton, via triple threat or whatever, and then Finlay coming back to challenge JBL. I think Finlay is one of the best wrestlers to never hold a major title, and he's not getting any younger. I think it would be awesome to give Finlay a title reign, even if it's short. Especially since his U.S. title reign was a joke, he had the belt for what a month? He's one of the hardest workers in WWE, give him a shot! I do think Big Show deserves another title reign too, but not yet. I don't like it when guys come right back and get into the title picture after being gone for so long...like Jericho, that sort of blew up in WWE's face...you need to build them up for awhile. Did anyone read about a lot of the wrestlers were pissed at The Rock? I guess he showed up late, went way over time(which would have been OK, if it was HIS HOF induction), and left right after his thing. He didn't even stay for the Flair induction. And a lot of the guys he was making fun of in the audience, I guess were pretty offended because it wasn't like pre-planned and it wasn't supposed to be a roast(and it went on for a lot longer than what we saw on USA). I guess he was being a bitch about people calling him The Rock, and not Dwayne Johnson too. I don't think we will be seeing The Rock back in any capicity for a long time. |

Anyone mad at the Rock needs to GET OVER IT. He was giving the fans what they wanted to hear. Let's face it, his father and grandfather wouldn't have
been inducted if he didn't agree to induct them. And it was well known that he could barely fit the HoF into his schedule as he was filming the new Witch
Mountain movie.
I agree Show is a much better face than heel. His natural personality seems that he's always jovial and good-natured and that comes out, even when he's trying to be a mean heel. Ranjin Singh (kayfabe wise) was injured by the Undertaker at No Way Out. In real life, he's on the writing staff, so they likely just took him off of TV for awhile. I hope you all downloaded Jillian's "Hot Bread" off of iTunes! |

Thanks, I didn't know even the kayfabe Ranjin Signh thing, I was wondering if they just dropped him....like they did with Armondo Estrada being Umaga's
manager with no explanation.
And I don't care about The Rock one way or the other, but I think Rocky Johnson would have someday been a Hall of Famer with our without The Rock simply just based on because Tony Atlas is in, and if anything, if it wasn't for The Rock, they probably would have went in at the same time... Peter Maivia, I really have no idea though, he was way before my time apparently (I'm 26) and I honestly don't think I had ever heard of him before The Rock. I think I typed "The Rock" about 87times in the above run on sentence....sorry about that. Do you think even as entertaining as The Big Show is, even he could make an entertaining feud with Khali? Can anyone? |

One of the reasons The Rock left right away is that he's filming a movie. Hell, I though the only reason they inducted Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson (not
that they didn't necessarily deserve it) was to get The Rock to show up.

The Batista/Michaels feud is gonna be great.
Plus: Michaels might turn heel. Minus: Michaels moves to Smackdown. |
