The "It Takes Two" duet reminded me of another Idol "It Takes Two" duet. I guess the people at Idols Netherlands were unoriginal and just decided to make the Top 2 do the same song as they did on AI.

Boris and Maude do "It Takes Two." It's much better than Justin and Kelly.

Study? You're supposed to study in University?

Actually I don't do much studying, I haven't really had many tests to study for this year. I ended up picking courses heavy on essays (ugh) rather than tests, so I've had like 1 mid-term and then just finals.

I mostly discovered all these other Idols prior to post-secondary though, in high school it would have been a miracle like the birth of Jesus to see me studying for any extended period of time. I was always the study the night before and ace it type of student.

Rex isn't that bad, I thought he had a good depth to his voice. Sadly, he only knocked it out of the park on some performances and not others. Had he aced every performance, he would have won.

I liked him in the beginning but towards the end he did really poorly and he wasn't ever a great singer. If he did more stuff like "After The Rain" I would have liked him a lot better.

I don't think he had a shot to win though, not up against Melissa.

Watching their duet again though the one thing I really enjoy about it though is the chemistry the two of them had. We found out later that they were together but their chemistry made that duet bearable.

I find many of the Top 2s in other countries have had really good chemistry and most of the AI Top 2s just haven't had it, not from what I remember.

I thought Kelly and Justin had good chemistry together and apparently a lot of people did too cuz the rumors ran wild that they were dating for months after the show ended, both denied it but I tend to think there was some romance going on.

There's always rumours about people dating on AI.

For CI though not only are there rumours of dating but 9 times out of 10 they're true. The last 3 winners have all ended up dating another contestant and in 2 of the cases there were rumours of their dating and it was eventually confirmed. Season 3's Winner Melissa and the runner up Rex were dating but they didn't confirm until months after the show ended, they were together for like a year and a half I think, Season 4's Winner Eva dated the 4th place finisher Chad, they confirmed their relationship shortly before the finale I think they only dated for a few months. Now Season 5's Winner Brian is dating the 6th place finisher Tara, they're still together and they're older, the other 2 were teen romances so I think these two will probably stick together. CI has become more like Matchmaker.
