Why does this show continue to kill off everybody in their 20s? Claire and Kate are the only two cast members to apparently be between the ages of 20-31 and
not die. Hurley's character may be in that age range, although the actor is not.

Younger people were always the most at risk. It was basically why Shannon was killed. Why: lack of flashback potential. There's simply less stories to tell
about people in their twenties, especially if you only want to use the same actor in the flashbacks. instead of a different, younger actor.

well, at least until partway through the second act... and his name is now Moritz and he's one of the leads in "Spring Awakening," having
replaced John Gallagher Jr. in early December of 2007. Not sure if Karl was planned to die before or after he got the part... but I certainly doubt we'll
see him again.
