Dick, third place overall? Yikes. I feel like I gotta give Dick the Yul treatment. Don't feel you can even legitimately rank the guy against any of the other players. With Yul its cause he should have come in ninth place, and only won because of the HII. With Dick its cause he only made it through the game due to producer manipulation and America's player. I think Yul was the best winner, but Dick sucked and would've been booted for sure |

Back from the longest vacation of my life, just added the 100th player to the ranking, and wondering whether or not this thread will be moved to "past
seasons" or not. More importantly, I'm interested to hear some more highly vocal complaints from those who have never seen this list before. ;)

Honestly, it always comes back to Will Kirby and Danielle Reyes. Everyone else is just not up to snuff to be called best of anything. Some may show a glimmer
of something akin to their skill and talent, but nobody has ever even come remotely close to being in their league.
And just to be clear, Danielle is second only to Will. But there is still a whole hell of a lot of room between even those two. Will Kirby makes even Richard Hatch look like a fucking neophyte. He's just that damned good. |

Reyes definitely lacked key self-awareness....but she would have had a hard time defeating anyone at the end. I'm sure she's kicking herself now for
quitting the final HOH and taking $500 K from Jason and planting it in Lisa's pocket.

And casting throwaway votes early in the game when so many are voting that you know will make no difference in the game whatsoever (ex. Will, yet again :P) shouldn't penalize a player's ranking in my eyes.

Reasonable points...all I can say is that the list is statistical. Certainly, if we were going to choose the best example of strategic finesse, it'd be
nearly unanimous for one by the name of Will Kirby. This ranking is more of an indicator of playing a clean game (avoiding nominations, controlling your own
destiny by winning challenges, voting out the same person as the majority which often means you aren't part of a losing alliance or are out of the loop,
etc...) Ultimately, it's a bit of fun and by no means the canonical end-all-be-all definitive statement.
If anyone here has ideas for a new category or two (not something useless like America's Choice that the players have no real power over), feel free to suggest them.

A survey would be more accurate, but then Dick would probably be ranked unfairly high, despite committing the two cardinal sins of BB - don't nominate
allies as pawns (as he did when Kail & Eric were on the block) and don't sink yourself with the voting HGs. TPTB washed over all of that, so it was a
very unnatural game. Also, you can fuck up a lot of chances too (Kaysar). So Jee, Kaysar, Howie, and Dick are the worst players of all time.

I could bring back the "not using the veto on yourself" business. Certainly, Dick was possibly giving up the entire game in that instance, Daniele
wasn't.
