Loved the snarkiness about the campaigns. Do we know whether he's a democrat or a republican?
I'm sure he wasn't that bad when trying to kick the soccer ball, certainly not an "out-of-shape, middle-aged man"! ETA: I would have thought that Anderson would have been Jay's first guest (instead of Conan O'Brien), but maybe Anderson didn't want to appear on the show until after midnight so that he wouldn't be competing with his CNN timeslot.

My suspicion is that he leans Republican, but that's just a guess on my part. He's pretty neutral which is one of the reasons I like to watch his
program. He tends to have varied viewpoints from all the pundits.
And I doubt he's out of shape, isn't he known to work out regularly? I was hoping to hear about something other than politics though, like maybe the skin cancer thing or the Will Ferrell movie searcher posted about the other day. Liked the Beckham stuff though. |

According to one website that tracks political donations, the only donation listed for AC was to a
Republican candidate, Richter Elser, back in 2001. Elser has ties to Yale, Cooper's alma mater, so the support may spring from that connection and not
necessarily from a party loyalty.

I love Anderson but I really only watch him to see Michael Ware when he's on. If he ever comes back from Iraq permanently I will stalk him.

His mom is BFF with Nancy Reagan, too. I tell myself he is an independent, though if he weren't a journalist I suspect he would be a log cabin repub.

up to move in with him this morning, with six bags of stuff in tow!

Anderson will be the speaker at the Northern Trust Lecture Series 2008 Senior Convocation on Monday, April 14 at the BankUnited Center on the Coral Gables campus of the University of Miami. Sadly it is only open to students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University. The event will begin at 6:30 PM, doors open at 5:45 PM. |
