With the upcoming series essentially starting from scratch, I doubt we'll see the producers hire an obvious mole, both in looks and methods of sabotage. Having the mole be overt and relentless in their sabotage is a very risky plan (UK Mole 2, Aus Mole 4) but it can work under certain conditions (like if the new season is preceded by one that is still fresh in people's minds). I was soooo hoping Bribs was the Mole as well...until stupid Katherine's stupid clues giving away the Mole in ep 4! "Bill is the Mole" how fucking obvious!

Something like that popped up right at the end of the first commercial break on last night's episode of The Bachelor.

Still no word about the new host. Looks like Anderson has a cameo in the Will Ferrell remake of Land of the Lost. Ferrell plays Dr. Marshall, a wacky scientist who ends up the laughingstock of the scientific community after attacking the quadriplegic and wheelchair-bound Stephen Hawking while being interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360. link

I saw what everyone was talking about- the Mole logo flashed on the screen during Lost commercials, TWICE! it's almost like a subliminal message or something. Hopefully Mystic Art won't screw things up like they have other reality shows and it will be a good comeback...

Those ABC folks are crafty. The variety article also says the show will probably debut on May 26th and be shown Mondays at 10pm. I'm psyched!

Here is the info from his Extra bio: Jon Kelley Weekend Co-Host / Correspondent Jon Kelley co-hosts "Extra's" one-hour weekend edition and is a primary correspondent for the daily show. Kelley joined the series in 2001 after a diverse broadcast career spanning more than 15 years in news, sports and entertainment. Before joining "Extra," Kelly served as the main anchor for the Fox Sports Network's "The National Sports Report," and the lead anchor for the weekly series, "Baseball Today." Prior to Fox, Kelley was the lead sports anchor on the NBC owned-and-operated station WMAQ-TV in Chicago. During his eight years in Chicago, Kelley was widely regarded as one of the region's top sports anchors and directors. In addition to his nightly sportscasts, Kelley hosted "Sports Sunday," WMAQ-TV's half-hour, expanded sports highlights program. There he shared the anchor desk with some of the city's most dynamic sports and entertainment personalities, including NBA rebounding star Dennis Rodman and "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno.
