how does this compare with Ella Enchanted?
singing fairy tale characters in a modern world. I want to see this movie, but my kids are now old enough that they're not interested. There would be no covering the fact that i'm renting it for myself. |

Enchanted was shown on my flight last night.
But my headset jack didn't work, so I just watched it without the sound, paying attention intermittently. It looks really good. But James Marsden looks too damn skinny, give that man a cookie. Isla Fisher is only slightly hotter than Amy Adams, but both are mind-numbingly sexy. |

Ella Enchanted was better because it had that great ironic humor. Enchanted was OK. It had its moments but was too schlocky.

She should have ended up with Prince Charming, not that wrinkly old man!What they didn't show you -- Prince Charming found himself a quaint piano bar down in the Village where he's been drinking cosmopolitans and singing showtunes with tall, skinny gay men to this very day. I agree -- leading man guy was yuck -- that Charming Prince Corney Collins was sexier I also HATED using reggae, steel drum music/vocals in the song "How will I know" ---- How the hell are us tall skinny gay men supposed to sing that song in our quaint piano bars down in the Village with all that reggae crap in it? Why I just have to slap my clutch on the bar and order another Cosmo. |
