Right after that Archtard sang a Australian song, Kristy Lee Cook blows him away with Proud to Be an American! That added another level of awesome to her
performance, she really couldn't have gone on after him any better.
In my opinion she did America proud by that rendition and I think it's good to see some patriotism on 'American Idol' although its only good in small doses. Kristy Lee Cook IMO is going the route of the true old-school American Idol's that we all have grown to know and love. People who aren't too good but get better and stronger week by week. Unlike these polished and precise singers like Carly or David Cook, she sucked starting out but just showed a hint of brilliance here, I think KLC is what this competition is all about, rooting for the amateurs to succeed! (I know she is supposed to be a plant too but I can't remember hearing of her and it's not like she was that good starting out so I feel like she's amateur level anyway) |
