This was the best she's sung and there were only a few rough spots... not too bad and definitely her most confident performance.
I like the simple change of lyrics, which she obviously needed.... well, unless she wanted to be thought of as a dyke, which would certainly undermine that red state vote. |

That song embodies the chest-beating, hyper-patriotism that the rest of the world snickers at us for.
Plus the money lyric--"I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free"--is a gramatical bomb. Which of course makes it the perfect anthem for our nation of barely literate boobs. |

This bitch is clearly lying about being just a farm tomboy. She's very obviously a fucking genius. Before this week her chances of going home were like 90%
or more so of course she comes out with a patriotic number and thus gets herself a spot in the Top 9. She probably won't even hit the seal this week. I
haven't seen it yet but I give her major props for a brilliant song choice.

I loved her reaction to Simon's comments. It felt very natural in a season of unbridled arrogance and entitlement.
This was one of her better vocals. I still think she's going to make bottom three, but I doubt she's leaving. Of course with the way Idol goes, she might easily leave after giving one of her better performances. |

I'm officially on the Kristy love train. I'm still not a huge fan of her singing but she did well tonight. I just love her personality, she's
fucking adorable, way more adorable than Archuleta + Ramiele put together and she seems sweet and nice.
