And we come to Carrie... She's a star. Undeniably the best of the girls. And yet, she gets incredibly little confessional time. It's a stark contrast to Natalie. It's like they want to lessen Carrie's obvious charisma... Come on. She stepped in at the last minute to replace Christyna and just knocked it out of the park. None of the other girls can compare and the judges know it.
And that bullshit voiceover? "Carrie, you never disappoint with vocals" followed by a clearly dubbed in "But you don't always know what to do with it and I'm not sure it always blends with the group."![]()
Fuck, yeah, it doesn't blend with the group. There's a noticable drop in the quality of the singing whenever any girl follows her.

And the preview for next week where she suddenly has vocal problems? I'm not looking forward to that at all. I feel like it's a setup to get her out because there's no way she would otherwise get the boot.It just pisses me off.
ECKS
I watch this show b/c it's a trainwreck and cheese and entertaining but to be honest, I went into it having no interest in Girlicious just like last season I had no and still have no interest in The Pussycat Dolls. If Carrie makes the group, though, I honestly might check them out simply b/c I think she's hella likable and her voice is really really good.If not? Girlicious is dead. to. me.
Carrie getting airtime next week can not be a good sign. I don't care what notes she can't hit next week b/c if Carrie can't hit them..NO ONE ELSE there can hit them either. That's fucking fact. How many girls have gotten chance after chance?
Carrie's done nothing wrong and I feel like as soon as she flubs even slightly panel will take that as an excuse to get rid of her so they can have girl band mediocrity w/ Nichole.
I won't buy whatever BS the judges are selling because I have heard Carrie each week and she blends in FINE w/ the other girls. She stands out as a lead singer but it's not like she's got this deep voice or some shit like that that stops her from singing well w/ others.
