this is it. youngest miss dmb is a senior. there is a place near midway airport (an hour from my house) that sells prom dresses. this year, EVERYONE that's
anyone (according to her) is getting their prom dresses there, and wewt!! you get a free tshirt that says you got it there to wear to school, which EVERYONE is
doing. i left my house at 2:30. walked into the pandemonium that is the dress shop at 3:30. apparently, you pick one dress, and they give you a number. we got
number 32. they were on number 82. once you begin trying on, the same person stays with you until you pick a dress. they went from 82 to 100, then 1 to 32
before it was our turn, you sit there the whole time, waiting. for the cost of only 432 dollars, i got out of there at 6:30 p fucking m. oh, and she got the
tshirt.
i'm so glad i never ever ever have to do that again.
eta; oh, they won't sell more than one dress in the same style/color to each prom. so it's fierce i tells ya.
