Why do Canadians LOVE Survivor?

What drives me bonkers though is that I would just KILL to apply to Survivor, yet I see all of you people with American citizenships being too pussy to do so.
Will one of you allow me to borrow your identity?

Precisely. I'd do whatever I could to get on that show if given the opportunity, and to know that there are American fans who wouldn't even try is

 I've been watching this damn show since I was 15 and just hoping for the day when that fucker MB would change the rules and let us Canadians
on it.
And no, I'd never go on a Canadian version.. that would be embarrassing. Have you seen Canadian Idol?! |

Canada just loves reality television in a big way. When CBS finally pulls the plug I expect them to keep it going since the popularity of the show doesn't
seem to have dropped off at all and a Canadian edition should even see a sizable increase in viewers.

^Nope, it's not like that at all. In my 4 years of high school, no one I knew watched Survivor except for this Asian chick, but even she only watches the
challenges.

Because no Americans would watch it, and there go the ratings. From my experience living in California, I would estimate that about 25% of Americans still have no idea where or what Canada is. Although perhaps that's just a Los Angeles thing. I don't think 25% of the people here actually knew where Nevada is. |

I've rarely met anyone who actually watched from the beginning...I'm the only CHRONIC I know but I do have a few friends I've converted and talk
Survivor with now...it's great...

Whenever I try to convince my friends to watch Survivor, they'll just say "Psh, it's fake" or "Yeah I watch it... sometimes... for the
challenges." How annoying.
