I get up at 4:45 am for work, but stayed up to watch American Idol (MY FIRST TIME!) because it was Lennon/McCartney music. I'll have to watch the eppy on Soapnet in an hour or so. SO-- they're saying that one of the following will be killed: Carly, Kate, Claudia, or Sonny. My money is on Kate. sadly. I'd rather lose Carly or Claudia. Carly will probably lose her baby though, paving the way for her eventual return to Sonny. puke

Port Charles is in the Bermuda triangle! Michael calls Carly, bomb timer reads 2:55 Michael hangs up, bomb timer reads 2:37 Carly arrives at docks, bomb timer reads 2:00 Where the hell is this posh, expensive neighbourhood that Jax and Carly live in? Obviously it's dock-adjacent if she had time to hang up, get her keys, drive over and walk around the docks until she found her demon spawn. This timer fiasco also makes the fact that they got caught in the explosion completely implausible. When they leave the docks the timer reads 0:37 - enough time for them to get home, put their coats away and have Mercedes whip up some sandwiches. Last Edited By: SargeantShizzler 03/17/08 7:33 AM. How about the other day when Spinelli was at Kelly's and three scenes later was with Jason at the hospital yet during the entire time, Nik had barely kicked Robin in the OR. There are like worm holes under the dock or something to get people to travel that quickly.

After watching it for 23 years, since I was a kid, I finally gave it up a couple years back. The stories seemed to go round and round and I didn't care for all the new people they kept bringing in, among other stuff. These days I get my melodrama/soap fix from Japanese and Korean dramas, so much better quality, characters and stories in those. Such amazing love stories too. Anyway, I was flipping through channels and noticed the old Carly is back, as another character. I always liked Sarah Brown, so I'm wondering if the show has gotten more watchable lately.

Sometimes it's a lot of fun, sometimes it's like watching paint dry. Total agreeance about their jumping forward without explanation ... like Nadine suddenly appearing in the hospital and Johnny leaping from a building. We often comment that it's as if they've skipped a day. We laughed about the bomb timer too! The other day, when Rick and Trevor were in the warehouse, didn't one of the timers go down to zero and nothing happened? Maybe it's that one timer runs down, and it causes another to start running? Or am I giving them too much credit? Sonny is such an ass. He walked into Jason's hospital room and never once asked how he was ... his best friend who just had surgery. And then he wouldn't tell Carly that they had a lead that Michael might have run away, even though it would have helped put her at ease a little bit, but yet he immediately turned around and told Kate. I hope he dies in the explosion.

It is just so...lame. That's the best word I can come up with. And I will admit that I have loved Jason & Sonny forever, but I can't even like them anymore. Jason has sucked ever since he slept with Liz and Sonny just gets more ridiculous by the day. Blaming Claudia and Johnny for everything is annoying, his chat with Michael was stupid, and yesterday, when he ran away from Mac to go back in the warehouse, was downright laughable. I actually laughed out loud several times, and more at him than with him. It's sad and I feel bad having to watch them like this. I hate that the all the characters I used to love are so ruined. Sam is a prime example of that. I fast forward 90 percent of the show. Can't watch Sonny, Jason, Liz, Carly, Ric and his new love, Lulu, or Michael. And I HATE Trevor. I like Claudia, but dislike how they are making her lust after Sonny so pathetically. Robin & Patrick were an upside for me today tho, so maybe there's that. I almost forgot to mention the pointless Nicholas and Emily garbage, the fact that Jerry is English and not Australian, that Alexis is cool and hot but can only date psychopaths, Monica's teeth, and Epiphany's bossy loud mouth and boring storyline that nobody cares about. My god...I pretty much hate this show....why can't I stop watching??? Sorry guys - end of rant.

I also laughed when Claudia told Patrick he should have read a pamphlet after he told her Robin was carrying his baby. (Why is he suddenly telling everyone he can that it's his baby?)

About damn time someone bullied the bully! That, along with his shitty parenting skills, should make for a nice downward spiral story. Even Jason is fed up with him! Jason couldn't care less about the business, Jax called him out in the ER, Johnny humiliated him in front of Claudia and Lulu, and Michael is the spawn from hell. Finally, this show is showing some cajonnes when it comes to Sonny!

It was something like who's the tough guy now big boy. I can't really remember exactly, but it was LAME! Claudia was pretty funny with Robin. Especially when you consider their hatred for each other when she was Carly. But the difference is that when she said that, it was supposed to be funny...90 percent of Sonny's laughable moments are supposed to be serious!

I am sickened by the Carly losing her baby thing. I am not a Jax fan, but C'MON! give the poor sap a child already! SO, does Logan have permanent brain damage? he was too too too agreeable with Lulu today. "yeah, go be with Johnny. I'll wait for you." WTF? "oh, I completely understand why you bashed my brains in. No problem." yeesh. He should have at least been a tad bit hurt of feelings, doncha think?

It would be nice to see someone other than Sonny put his foot down with Carly and give the boys a chance to have a different kind of life. I was enjoying Jax yesterday, telling Carly that she needs to step up and teach Michael to be better than his father even if it means involving the police and punishing him for the gun 'accident' to do it. I think I'd be perfectly happy to see the Corinthos/Morgan organization fade into the distance and have the Zachara's take over PC as the new Mob Rule. It would be interesting to possibly have Jake step in as the competition when he's old enough. (With the way they SORAS these days, I'm estimating that to be somewhere in early 2012.) I think Logan's up to something. Either he and Scott are going to work together to try and bring down the Spencer's through Lulu or he's going to try and take Johnny out and look like the big hero. If that's the plan, I would love to see them stay true to history and have him end up looking like the fool just like Scotty always does. I really want Monica to be the one who hit Sam. I'd love to see her go through her whole self-righteous drama of having Liz arrested and brought to trial and swear up and down that she remembers seeing her in the car only to have someone provide undeniable proof it was Monica. I'm not a Liz fan, but I definitely prefer her to Sam. (Liz always seems like the quintessential female soap character to me. Capable and resilient, yet somehow always the victim. She acts as though she is somehow a trillion times better than Sam, when they basically are two peas in a pod. the only difference is that Liz has a veneer of class while Sam reeks of the streets. I'd love to see Sam hook up with the beastly doctor and become the new Mob Queen--wreaking havoc on Sonny and Jason. That would be fun to watch--Sam as a 'take no prisoners,offer no apologies' bad girl. I also want Liz to lose Jason to another woman, so she can possibly understand a tad of Sam's anger. I think Sam is being written badly, but I totally get why she is full of rage. Sam wanted a baby. Jason kept putting it off. Sam gets shot because she is with Jason. She can't have kids. Jason throws her over for the woman he impregnated. yeah, there is a deep well of bitterness and rage that Sam can reach into for years to come. This could be GOOD if the writers would stop writing drivel. They're trying to have Sam be the heroine while being bad. It doesn't work.
