People are quitting left and right this season (Jonny, Chet, Kathy). Why are they getting the kid-gloves treatment with the editing?

Parv now has TWO Final Four Pacts! | ||||||
|
According to that promo, oy vay! Parv now has TWO Final Four Pacts. One with James, Ozzy, Amanda and now this promo-ed one with Alexis, Natalie and Eliza???
That's why she doesn't win. She'll have a jury full of angry ditched alliance members! And notice that Cerie is NOT INCLUDED in either F4!!!!

Orangeena: there's a F4 pact between Parv/Alexis/Nat/Eliza? In the promos, it's Amanda, not Eliza as part of the alliance... and when was there ever a
F4 pact between the 2 showmances? I don't think we were ever shown an actual agreement being struck between them. It's obvious that they're allies
but there was never a F4 promise shown (at least not that I recall, but I've been wrong). In contrast, Parv and Amanda have openly talked about needing to
get rid off them when the time is right.
Parv does, however, have a F3 alliance with Amanda/Cirie, though it's obvious that the girls were stringing Cirie along solely for her vote.... who in their right mind would face off against Cirie in the finals? |

Exactly.

Did you see the wink Ozzy sent James after losing the last IC. The guys think they are running the alliance, think being the operative word.
As Perv explained to Amanda on the boat with Cirie, James never asks her questions. Perv was explaining to Amanda to keep Ozzy close even though they just
made an alliance with Cirie. Ozzy won't ask you questions. He's assuming they are a foursome alliance.
Now Perv has made a second alliance with less stragetic FANs elimating the need for Cirie when the time comes. She as smooth as a hostess at a cocktail party. |

However, this is why they turn on the fans at the F5.
Having booted James and Ozzy pre-emptively, they can't take Alexis/Natalie to the F4 because either of them will likely beat them, getting the votes of nearly everyone on the jury. So they take Cirie. Oops. |

with Natalie at 31 being the oldest. Micronesia would hve the youngest jury ever. Since Parvati could have spent more time bonding with Alexis, Natalie and
Jason, I woud have to give her the edge.

Chet I'm assuming was because of the foot infection, but can you elaborate on the Kathy situation?

Tracy mentioned something in her exit interview that she wished Kathy had her meds. She then said "joking, just kidding"
Maybe anti-depressants???? |

I thought they had an off-camera location (maybe on the way to tree-mail) to get their prescription medications, such as birth control pills.
Taking someone off anti-depressants AND putting them in a super stressful situation is a recipe for disaster. |

Only in Hollywood Jeff Probst has survived and seen 'em all By Ruben V. Nepales Philippine Daily Inquirer First Posted 00:57:00 03/09/2008 inquirer.net
LOS ANGELES-"Survivor" host and executive producer Jeff Probst recently sat down for an interview about his phenomenally successful TV series, which has just been picked up for two more cycles. A chatty, friendly guy, Jeff talked about some of the interesting yet not well-known elements and incidents in the long-running reality show that he has seen and experienced. Below are excerpts: What things are the contestants allowed to bring? They have a first aid kit that has sunscreen lotion, tampons, condoms (laughter)-because we don't want any "Survivor" babies. But they use condoms for different things, too. They get creative and realize that they can use the condom to somehow help them survive. Other things like toothbrush-no. Toilet paper? No toilet paper. They go in the ocean. No medication either. So how well do you know them for just-in-case medical situations? We know their medical profile pretty thoroughly so they can't bring anti-depressants, for example. |

Birdlady, the Orange team has no creative people that are willing to step up. Eliza is the ONLY one that might be able to come up with an original use for any
select item that they may have. But, she is too busy being paranoid, to get creative around camp.

The Probst article was interesting. So I'm guessing that folks with chronic conditions such as bipolar disorder or diabetes, to name two completely
disparate things, don't get to be on survivor since they would need their meds. I imagine starving wouldn't be good for them either!
I read the entire article and noticed that he is no longer dating Julie Berry. Am I the only one who didn't know that? |

Don't feel bad Rats, I was one of the last to know as well. I don't really follow their love lives much and I am not all that up-to-date on any other
celebs quasi or otherwise.

I suspect the Philippine Daily Inquirer may not have quite the credibility of the US National Enquirer. . . .

Kathy was removed for medical reasons (prescription medication withdrawal), but production made it appear to be a quit. We all know the producers come in to discourage contestants from quitting, but in Kathy's case there were real medical reasons. I kinda figured we weren't being shown everything concerning Kathy's departure, in that it wasn't a "pure" quit. |

I'm suspect of Jason's "I miss my family too pep talk" with Kathy. The little twit probably incidentally gave her a little push over the
edge. In truth he was very unkind to the older folks.
