There were actually lots of firsts!
It was the first time a woman named Kathy quit! It was the first time time a woman named Tracy was voted out! It was the first time Amanda and Ami got topless in a shower together! It was first time the cameramen got to see Eliza's bush! And that's only from the half of the episode that I saw! |

I believe the "first" is Kathy's ignorance in quitting because she couldn't "feel" her family anymore. The ads were "for the
first time a survivor has a new way of communicating w/ their loved ones".
