Per.tition to add "That's so not Raven!" as the subtitle.
Holy schnikes, yellow umbrella sighting! Man, I've missed this show. |

hopefully, this will make you watch more...
and this episode, aside from that one gag, wasn't that super funny... it's usually much funnier... |

shiza, every time i have seen this show it has been very funny. if not the entire ep, then at least one running joke they do in an ep.
the last one i saw was when the canadian chick went on vacation to some foreign country, fell in love with some local dude, and everything was all sexy about that trip (spilling food on each other and the furniture before they made love, knocking everything off a table before they made love) and then back home she was all "couch!" and "laptop!"... i don't know if you remember that one. it cracked me up. i am a prison break fan. so, i can only catch these eps now. this will be renewed. i saw "big bang theory" tonight. it doesn't come close to how funny this show is... |

I thought Big Bang was 10 times funnier tonight than this, and I love them both.

the laugh tracks hurt both shows for me. its just "actor delivers line" *laugh track and actor waits, then actor delivers next line*, that kills it
for me. neither of these shows has advanced beyond "i love lucy."
i think, and i am no expert, that both of these shows would improve if they would ditch the laugh track.. shit is funny or it isn't. let the audience decide. a writer somewhere said this week that a laugh track actually hurts a television writer. if you say a joke and no one gets it the story just moves on, but of you say a joke *followed by laugh track and pause* and you, the viewer is not laughing, then you are all "why are these people laughing? that wasn't funny." it diminishes the experience. like they are trying to sell you your experience... and no one likes that. but i'm on board for both bbt and himym for the remaining eps. nothing else on. they could both be so much better. i hope they do that... |

Maybe I was just going through withdrawals, but I thought tonight's episode was hilarious. The initial revelation that Milly's apartment was crooked
had me ROFLMAO. I also loved the line about the girls in the club being drunker than the ones in the club.
I love this show. I would take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant. |

I laughed hard at the '516, 718, 212' line Barney had tonight mainly because I know exactly the type of girls he's referring to.

The mother | ||
|
The mother supposedly visited the bar tonight, but she and Ted didn't meet. But I'm gonna say the girl he bumped into in the bar and said "excuse
me" to, will be the one.
There was no other reason to have that little bump in the show.

SonnyKoufax1 wrote: Same here. I actually backed up the TiVo to get a good look at her because I was convinced she was the mother. Especially since we KNOW that Carter and
Craig have a penchant for introducing things episodes in advance before paying them off (see: spaghetti on Robin and Ted's shirts that gets completely
ignored).

Since I can't remember which one was the girl that he bumped into, I'm going to post the pictures of both here and let you guys decide.
This one is Nicole Muirbrook Wagner, listed as "Woman" in the credits:
This one (the one I'm about to post, not the one above) is Hope Riley, listed as "Attractive Brunette" in the credits:
I couldn't post larger pics because IMDB is stupid. They are both there if you want to see bigger pictures. |

giaa must totally be a "lost" fan.
always looking for more than there is in any given ep... - he "bumped" into her. - he hooked up with her - he never even saw her all we know is that she was there. i immediately searched himympedia but i came up with nothing... |

I think the second one was one of the women he and Barney left behind.
neither of these shows has advanced beyond "i love lucy." Huh? I hate the laugh track too but that's pretty much the only thing HIMYM has in common with I Love Lucy. As much as I wish they didn't have it (especially since it's not even taped in front of an audience), at least it isn't as distracting and lengthy as it was on Seinfeld (where Michael Richards would jump from the doorway to 30 seconds of applause). (Oh yeah, tonight was my first time watching Big Bang Theory--not bad. Nowhere near as good as HIMYM but not bad.) And although there wasn't any doubt that she'd lose the title, Cobie Smulders is still the hottest woman ever in existence. |

Barney's area code theory was the best line of the night. 516--that's Mariah Carey land.

I totally agree it was the bump chick...and they will replay it but with her walking away, seeing her face, later in the series. Guaranteed. Really, NO other
reason for the bump.
Episode had a few bright moments, but not the continuous laughter it usually gets from us. 2 and a half men was funnier tonight. Still, glad to have it back. The crooked apartment reminded me of the old running gag on Mad About You and their apartment... |
