And it's not to say Elisabeth hasn't moved above Survivor, it's just that she doesn't have to be all resentful towards her time on it.

Doesn't matter its content. I could make the argument that Two and a Half Men seems like it's written by retarded twelve year olds, it doesn't stop it from being a hit show. If Lis talked about a gameshow constantly on this show, it would lose her credability, (I know, I know) Why does she have to like or even respect Survivor? It was a stepping stone, and she ran with it. I imagine if she did talk about it incessantly, we'd be posting about how she needs to get over it -it was a thousand years ago, and "Bitch, please -you only got fourth place, no one wants to hear what you've got to say!" Oh my god, I can't believe I just spent time defending Elisabeth.

But they were known before the show. Elisabeth is the only one who has gotten any career out of the show other than being an extra in an obscure movie/TV show.

A clear evidence of how editing can skew your preceptions. She should have been an OTTN (and probably was on her season), but the producers managed to switch her to a positive character.

Kinda sad how things can change... But yeah, I don't think she's disrespectful towards Survivor, out of all the women on the View she is the one who talks about the different reality shows all the time, especially American Idol. I don't think she watches Survivor anymore.
