Jin remains a fantastic actress. She completely captivates me.
He does have very perdy lips.

I know Ben was never a ticket holder, and his name wouldnt be on the charter, but what if he somehow convinced someone else on the island to let him go to land in their place and live under their identity. He could be living as John Locke. Their about the same age, and Locke didnt have anyone really close to him back home, so nobody wold really quesion it. |

Didn't Jin's actor get a DUI or some other driving infraction? Yeah, he's dead.
Actually, I do think he's dead because of how Sun reacts at his grave. It really makes her scene much more riveting and emotional if you watch it thinking Jin's dead. It just seems so empty if you watch it assuming Jin's alive. Jin likely sacrifices himself to save Sun and his daughter, just as Charlie did for Claire and Aaron. Yeah, it'd be nice if he was alive, but Sun's flashforward is even better if Jin's dead, sad as it would be. Plus Jin being dead is easier to explain than Jin being alive and not going along. That said, I don't see him dying next week because of how obvious it is. I was thinking Claire, but she and Aaron still have to get on a helicopter per Desmond's vision, and I don't see Claire getting killed while holding Aaron. Though then it wouldn't make sense for Claire to die anyway. But Claire's death would explain why Kate would want to leave the island despite her past, to care for Aaron... I'm just rambling now. Damn, Lost is on fucking fire this season. |

everyone keeps reacting to Suns crying by thinking Jins automattically dead. But even if he's alive, but on the island, and chances are, shes never going
to see him again, and he'll never meet the baby, wouldnt that make her cry too?

His tombstone said 1972 to 2004...that means he has, what, 5 days left to die?Actually the date of death was 9/22/2004. He "died" the day of the crash..which is of course not true. |

I didn't realize that Jin's part was a flashback until I came on here. I even made fun of his huge ass cell phone when I saw it. I even had a theory
that explained almost everything except the babies gender. (Sun really got knocked up by the bald guy, Juliet was wrong because of the time difference, Jin
finds out gets mad and marries someone else then when Hurley showed up I thought he was going to put the moves on Sun.)
But I am still confused about the Oceanic 6, is Jin one of them? I kind of think not at this point. |

Wow you guys are good. That makes me feel a little better that the whole episode just went completely over someone else's head. lol. I didn't realize the year of the dragon thing either and I thought that they were just parallel flash-forwards. When Jin said that he had only been married for two months, and Sun was mourning at his grave, I assumed that he'd faked his death and remarried, and was working for Mr. Paik again. I even said, "do you think that he was so betrayed that Sun cheated on him that he faked his death?" anyway, glad I come to this board, because you guys catching all the details, such as the year of the dragon, got me up to speed. Makes more sense that it was a flashback and Sun's was a flashforward, and that Jin is either dead, or on the island still. Thanks sucks. :) |

If Jin was dead when he knocked Sun up then Sun's baby is some kind of Zombie Baby!

cindel25 wrote:I don't think Ben the faked the Oceanic 815 crash. I think it was Charles Widmore. Who sent the search vessel to the Sunda Trench region to look for the Black Rock? Charles Widmore. The man who owns the journal of the Black Rock's first mate. Thus, he should likely know that the Black Rock doesn't lie at the bottom of the ocean, but rather knows that it lies deep in the jungle on a mysterious island. So, why did Widmore send the search vessel to the Sunda Trench? He sent it there to "discover" the faked wreckage of Oceanic 815. Faked wreckage that he arranged to have placed there. Ben may have the resources to create a fake plane crash at the bottom of the ocean. But a man who can afford to drink scotch that costs possibly thousands of dollars a swallow has far, far more resources to do such a thing. And why would he do it? To insure that anyone who might still be looking for Flight 815 or its survivors never got near the island he wants so badly. |

Whoo! Came back here just to see what everyone's reactions were.
I was wondering what the hell was going on when the storekeeper mentioned it was the year of the dragon. The large cellphone was subliminal tipoff. It was a huge WTF moment when Hurley showed up and they firmly established Jin's was a flashback. Unfortunately, Sun's reaction tells me Jin is definitely dead. The rest of the O6 knew who they left behind and covered it up. So I can only conclude Jin was not one of the ones still alive. Can't wait to meet Kevin Johnson next! |
