Jonathan - OTTP. Giving it all to help the tribe win reward and then having to be forced to leave the game followed by nearly everyone saying nice things about him.
James - MOR. Comments on being alone among the girls - foreshadowing?
Jason - MOR(N). He definitely looks foolish upon finding Ozzy's fake, but are we supposed to be laughing at him or be dismayed that he's fallen for it? (After all, it isn't like we're supposed to be rooting for Ozzy this episode.)
Alexis - UTR. Ugh - still no story, but just enough notice to remind us she's there.
Parvati - MOR. She got the main narration of the reward, including a flirt with the natives.
Eliza - MOR. She got to set up the future story of the tribe ... if Jonathan hadn't had to leave. Whoops!
Natalie - UTR. Still hardly there.
Kathleen - UTRP. She got the positive moment with Jonathan before he left, but that's it.

Ozzy - OTTN. It's shocking given the generally positive edit he's had up until now, but he was clearly a jerk this episode - an overbearing, arrogant, and clueless jerk, who would have been gone if not for Chet's being a wimp.
Cirie - MORN. She's being presented as an obstacle to the fans, who despite their incompetence, are being given the sympathetic edit.
Amanda - UTRN. She's barely more than Ozzy's shadow, but even she shares in the general arrogance.
Tracy - OTTP. Her loyalty to Chet is admirable, if questionable, and she's taking on all the characteristics of the typical doomed sweetheart.
Erik - MOR. Some may argue CP, but I don't think there's quite enough.
Chet - MORM. We're supposed to sympathize with him (I think), but we're also supposed to be hugely dismayed that he's going to leave without helping the fans overthrow the cocky favorites.
Ami - CPP. She's weighing the decision to stick with the favorites to remain safe or to join with the fans because the favorites are being jerks. That's CP! Being willing to risk herself to side with the positively edited group is hugely positive.

Alexis' failure to get a story (still) is dropping her way down the list. It is one thing to get occasional low involvement in the story, but she's gotten little but fluff the last three episodes, just enough to keep her in theoretical contention, but at this point she's looking as no better than a potential default winner ...

which I won't rule out, especially the way this episode went down. The favorites (especially on Malakal) are being collectively edited as a negative objectified force. It would not surprise me overly much if the story becomes how the overconfident favorites, with the game seemingly in hand, cannibalize each other and allow an underdeveloped fan to win.

Parvati's gotten a stretch of mostly fluff as well, but her role is better defined than that of Alexis. As long as Airai doesn't go to TC and as long as her allies on Malakal have the upper hand, she's in a holding position, which is fine. And Eliza's confessional presented a sense of danger to Parvati that was significantly defused by Jonathan's removal. She's still looking good. (Interesting that in James' confessionals about being worried about the women, there was no mention of Parvati. Are they even still flirting? With Alexis and Natalie around, Parvati may have some competition.)

Eliza also looks good, and her confessional works for her too. It's the opposite effect, as her doubt comes from the fact that Jonathan is removed, worsening what was beginning to look like a good position. The rivalry with Parvati remains the story, but it is on the back burner. She's got the best chance of overcoming the collective negative edit associated with the remaining favorites. (Well, Ami could too, but there's no way she's winning with her edit up until now.)

Cirie's continuing tendency toward negativity I think bodes poorly for her. Sure, a winner can be negative, as Todd was last season, but generally that negativity is combined with perspective, which we've had precious little of from Cirie. Sure, we see her plans, which got her that undeserved CP last episode, but there's something missing. The edit is setting her up as the obstacle for the others to overcome, which is markedly different that Todd having to overcome Jean Robert and James last season. Even so, Cirie will remain in contention for me, just well behind Parvati and Eliza.

Ozzy's edit continues its distraction arc. While he could still pull this off, his odds from an Edgic perspective are declining fast. His fate is tied up with Erik and Jason so it'll be interesting to see if he survives them. (Wouldn't it be ironic if Ozzy got voted out because other people thought Jason had the real idol?)

Jason technically could still win, but I seriously doubt it. At this point, he'd need a bit of a redemption arc, and that would put him into distraction territory (a la the original Kathy).

James can't win with his edit, but it is interesting how he comments that being alone with the girls is bad for him. It has the taste of foreshadowing. I would guess he's proven correct, and the girls will gang up on him post-merge to vote him out.

Tracy looks doomed now. Her story was tied to Chet, and now we see why. Chet leaves instead of helping Tracy gain a foothold, and now she's unable to work the numbers to her favor. She could have been a contender if only Chet weren't such a schmuck! She, Ami, and Erik could still force a tie if they go to TC again, but I'm not confident that either Ami or Erik would do so. Her best hope is that Malakal starts winning immunity so she can make it to merge. (The fans are currently down by one, but both Ami and Eliza are free agents. If Airai were to lose, Eliza could still swing the fan vote against Parvati and then James, which would give the fans numbers at the merge. With Chet and Joel both gone, the prior fan disagreements could probably be smoothed over. However, this scenario just doesn't fit with the current edits.)
