I don't like the idea of Aaron counting. But didn't they say we would know all of the O6 after tonight's episode? So that means it is either Jin or
Aaron...neither of which makes sense, really

I say we've accounted for only five of the six. Jin doesn't count since he allegedly did not survive the crash. Aaron doesn't count because he
wasn't a passenger and therefore had nothing to survive. So who is number six? Michael?

The best "guess" for the 6th member of the Oceanic Six is Michael.
But that's really just process of elimination. Your other choices are Sawyer, Locke, Rose, Walt or Bernard. (Yeah, I'm not seeing those either. And I'm pretty certain Aaron doesn't count.) |

Maybe we have seen all 6. Maybe Ben assumed the identity of one of the people on the flight and the others are forced to play along - making him one of the
"Oceanic 6".
Or maybe my vicodin is kicking in. (Yay dental surgery!) |

What about Ben? Is there anyway he counts as one of the six? It's interesting though that Hurley said let's go see him--referring to going to
Jin's grave. Why would he say let's go see him if he's not there? Did he die after the island? Did they recover the bodies and bring them back
to bury them?

nevermind, if this tombstone is dated the same date as the crash, he wasn't a survivor.
I'm thinking Jin is still alive and this is all a ruse to keep Sun's dad from going after him.

My guess is still Michael and it's Michael in the coffin. Just Kate's tone "Why would *I* go to the funeral?" said to me that she
wouldn't want to pay any sort of respect to that person. Michael, having betrayed them to Ben would fit the bill. Locke could too but I don't see him
leaving the island except by force and the next little while seems to be all about Michael.

Yeah, my best guess would be the 4 from Michael's list that he took to Pala Ferry plus Michael and Walt. Which, if that is Michael's funeral
and Walt is one of the six, Walt must be ashamed of his dad.
Although, if Walt's powers are enhanced by the island (as they seem to be) he may not want to leave. But more and more I don't think it's their choice who leaves and who stays which could mean that if Walt is forced to leave because of his dad he could harbor a good deal of resentment towards him which could be why he wouldn't go to the funeral. Huh, I think I talked myself out of it and right back into it, lol! ETA - Sayid .. dammit! 
EATA - Oh yeah, and Sun! Shit!

Saaaaaaaay there's an idea. What's to stop Claire form getting off the island with Aaron and dying then? Kate could adopt Aaron after the fact. No
reason to assume that Claire never got off the island and THEN Kate got Aaron.
