I loved her for the first time tonight. I've always liked her but she's always been somewhere in the middle for me.
She seemed to get lost on the semifinals stage for some reason, but owned the stage tonight. |

I'm an Idol veteran, but this is the first time i've watched the show. She's by far my favorite and the best this year. Then again, it's not

Her only "bluesy" performance, Shadow of Your Smile, I thought was her worst performance, her performances where she's been rocking out have
gotten better every week. I totally agree that i'd love to see her belt a clazzy, bluesy ballad. For some reason I want to hear her sing
"Inseperable". Won't happen, I have the worst tastes.

The judges don't do her any favors. Too much fucking overhype. If I hated her, which I don't, I would probably be frothing at the mouth at Kelly
Clarkson comparisons.
She was good. This was a hobbled theme night because the Beatles are so memorable, nothing will ever match their versions. "Come Together" has an atmosphere the Idol band can't match. Not as good as what the judges claimed, but she did well. |

See, to me Come Together is a bluesy song. When I say bluesy, I don't necessarily think contemporary R&B.

David is the little teenager with the sad faces. He can get away with overhype. A lot of people hate Carly no matter what she does, so she can't quite get away with overpraise because that might have a negative affect on casual voters. I'm saying this because I like Carly. They need to reign the praise in and let her voice speak for itself. |

Without a certain amount of praise though the voters are apparently deaf and can't hear for themselves who can actually sing and who can't. The way the
voting has been going it seems they need the judges approval to like someone and will dislike people based on judge critique.
Kristy is a perfect example of his. She sucks, she has no personality but since the judges praised her semi performances she got enough votes to make the Top 12. |

I have to catch her performance on YouTube, i fell asleep before she came on and woke up when she was getting comapred to Kelly.
I love Carly <3. And thank God they didn't make her look 76 again. |

I think if they continue the way they have been Carly, Brooke or David C could walk away with the title. While Archuleta continues to coast people will become
more and more annoyed with him and in the end he won't win.
