I only have a regular XBox, no PS2.

Maybe I'll try renting each system from Blockbuster and then deciding which one to get.

I got a Wii today!

I've been running around trying to get on a waiting list, but none of the major retailers keep waiting lists. I stopped at a little game hut place to see if they had a waiting list. I opened the door for the UPS guy and went to the counter and asked to be put on a list.

The counter guy said "If you wait just a minute the UPS guy should have brought three to us today. There are two people who have been waiting since 7:30. If there are three in the shipment you can have the third."

Yayayayayay! This was around 11:30 so those other two people had just been hanging out for four hours. They knew that a shipment was coming today. The ToysRUs folks told me that they would have some on Saturday but that the line would be really long. I was thinking of dragging my nieces out to wait on line in the morning. Instead we are going to go play Wii at my house!

I played bowling and baseball so far. My arm is sore! I promised Foo I would wait until next weekend before we try guitar hero together.

I got the standard box unit, an extra controller numchuck(?), a package with seven or eight games, a controller charger, and Guitar Hero III.

I didn't know that the thing had wireless internet capabilities. Now I understand how beagle sometimes posts on his. I really like the sensor bar set up. I can keep the unit hidden away and safe.

All in all this is the second most amazing toy that I've seen in the last few years (the first being the Garmin).
