You can make a lobster spread for crackers in one of those things. I have one shaped like a shrimp that I use for shrimp spread, made with fresh Gulf shrimp.

aspic is either a meat or tomato based jelly/jello type thing and it's usually pretty nasty but was considered a classy thing to serve in the 50s and 60s
