The instrument is just not a Strad. It's one of those $1200 cheapos from China.
She has the voice to sing the vocals for the cover songs on "dancing with the stars"... or maybe a bar mitzvahs or, yes, Cruise ships & theme parks.
A clear cut below the singers they use for disco versions of pop hits in Europe. Being loud and on-key is not all there is to singing. If it were, MY singing would be considered very good, and it's very meh, worthy only of a church choir.
