I do question this song choice, but she may have realized she was leaving no matter what and wanted to sing something she enjoyed. X. Right on. They gave her a rock and a hard place basically and a dildo to fuck herself as she waits to be eventually eliminated. What does it for me with Simon is that LEONA LEWIS is the most boring person and lifeless in the world. So what does personality have to do with Kady then. Totally never given much of a chance. Like you said, even if she did an upbeat song, they'd rag she isn't being true to herself or some shit like that. RIGGED. Thanks for voting DHW, hope it works. I'm trying to think of another contestant like Kady that was on CI for comparison but I'm coming up short. Eva maybe? Kady has that powerful voice. Eva is Kady, both similar, and had sort of the same colder outside thing, although Eva smiles more. Kady would have done well on CI, I'd bank on it.

Agreed Miki, Eva and Kady are kind of similar. People made similar comments about Eva's personality early on too if I recall but I think she was just French and there was a language barrier and she had some trouble communicating herself properly in English. I always found that personally and then a while later when I saw her in concert I noticed her English had improved a lot and she was able to express herself as well in English and she could in French before. It just occurred to me what Kady lacks. A thick southern accent. She's from Texas but you can't hear much of an accent that suggests this when she speaks. Her english has improved, I agree. Thanks Lauren, keep it up Americans. I wanna see Simon's head explode when she stays again, hopefully.

Don't give up hope -- remember nobody expected Haley to make the Top 12 last year at all. Haley was on EVERYBODY'S prediction lists. It's possible. And more people may vote for her since they announced she was in the bottom 3 last week (I recall Kevin Covias being in the bottom 3 the second semi-final week and then made Top 12). But I'm preparing for her demise anyway. :)

I called for her again later in the night and probably go around 75 votes in for her. I would be shocked (but elated) if she makes it thru. It's so frustrating to me because I think this girl has the most naturally beautiful voice of anyone this season. I do wish she would pick songs that accentuate her voice better, but I think she could give the most beautiful performance ever on Idol and the judges would fuck her over because she's not one of their "chosen ones". Here's hoping she's able to pull out a top-12 spot.
