Gary Gygax also deserves credit for fantasy videogames and virtually the entire library of BioWare. Some of the best games of all time were the Baldur's
Gate series. Would never have been made that same way or possibly at all without D&D. Also Knights of the Old Republic is based on the d20 system.
Games like Ultima, WoW and EverQuest, Wizardry and other fantasy stuff may not have existed without D&D and Gary Gygax. I tip my hat to Gary Gygax, you gave us all great ways to waste our lives in the best way possible. :) |
