I hadn't seen her in years. I'm glad she is doing better then. If she had needed the plastic surgery for health reasons, that would have been one
thing, but if she did it to keep her looking younger, it's a shame she even bothered. I had wondered why she hadn't been back for certain things.

That really was a good funeral. I had myself a really good cathartic cry. The scene with Bo, Kimberly, Roman and Kayla at the coffin with noone saying a word
was really emotional. Tomorrow also looks like a tear fest and then I'm sure we'll be treated to more boring hospital drama.
Am I the only one who really doesn't care that much that Bo is sick/dying. He's never added much to my viewing experience. |

Funeral was good (well as good as a funeral can be) but I was greatly annoyed that Max was left out of the brother/sister stuff except at the very end. I know
he and Frankie (who should have been there, the man saved you from the streets, nothing should stop you from going to his funeral) joined the family after
Roman, Kayla, Kimberly and Bo left home but that's no reason to shun him. He should have been at that coffin holding hands with the others and should have
given a eulogy too. I'm sure Shawn would have been very disappointed that Max was treated second class. I'm sure in Shawn and Caroline's hearts Max
and Frankie are just as much their children as the other four, but the show sure doesn't treat them that way.

I didn't even think about that regarding Max not being at the coffin w/the rest of the Brady kids. You have a good point about that. I was glad they
threw in some flashbacks during the funeral. They did a really great job on today's episode. I LOVED John telling Roman "I guess I owe you a hug
then!". It was just so weird, but funny.

It's hard to tell if she's from Steve's past before Kayla or during Steve's dead years. There's been some rumors that Ava could possibly be Marina Toscano (Ernesto's daughter) hence Ava's powerful father. There's also been rumors that her father could be Orpheus, Victor, Morgan's father. If she's supposed to be Marina, she has a brilliant plastic surgeon!! Marina would be at least pushing 50(the actress who portrayed her is in her late 40s, I think). My vote for her daddy definitely goes to Orpheus. Danny- I agree that it was a blast to see Kim confront Victor. it brought back memories of the time she and he slept together and she thought she was having her own father's baby! good times. lol To explain- Kimberly had to sleep with Vic so that Vic wouldn't kill Shane(he was a badass in those days). She then found out that one of her family was Vic's child, but didn't yet know that it was Bo. Kim's baby was Shane's, and all turned out well. lol |

tigeranne, thanks for reminding me of the kim/victor thing! i had forgotten about that. gawd, i remember the whole 'which brady kid is victors'. really
good times!
the funeral wiped me out. i cried like i was a brady by blood myself. carolyn has been fabulous. i'm really getting into the show again. we'll see where things go once the funeral stuff is done. i'm staying positive especially with steve's business going on. speaking of steve's business - i need another reminder - who's orpheus? |

Orpheus was a former ISA agent who hated Roman because he blamed him for his wife's death.
Here's a link to the main story from Orpheus http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/stockholm.html |

The funeral was another good episode. The only part that got to me was when Steve put a harmonica on the coffin...touching. Having Kimberly back was great. She
looks a bit different, but her spirit is the same. Makes me miss having her around. And again, there was another moment that felt like Y&R...when the four
Bradys were holding hands at the coffin and then the camera focused on them from behind...just felt like The Young and the Restless to me.

Tony & Anna need more airtime.
Why couldn't Carrie be more like Anna lol. |

Why can't Days put togther back-to-back good episodes? Thursday's "wake" show was a dud compared to Wednesday's "funeral" show.
Max just couldn't carry off the poignant toast to his Pa...just doesn't have the acting cops to pull it off. Did Chelsea ever share a scene with
Grandpa Shawn? Kimberly waffles between staying in Salem to be with her mom, but then needs to hurry home to LA because she put some stuff on hold. And why put
Bo through this illness....it's not like he's going to die. UGH!!!!
And "the birth control" talk....not sure if Stephanie or Chelsea ever got that, so why lay that on Tony's assistant. So stupid. |

I just can't figure out why John is so greedy about the DiMera money when he's already stinking rich from the Alamain inheritance...
he totally should have offered to share with Tony, EJ, and Lexie. Then, they could either take him up on it or turn down the "dirty money". Soaps in Depth has this to say about the new doctor (Daniel): rumored to be a love interest for Hope wtf? If that is the case, the writers are gonna blow it. No one--not even a non Hope/Bo fan like myself- wants to see that couple split up yet again. *yawn* I loved John today. It's obvious that Claire is the key to John ever again acting human. Of course that means that she will be leaving town! lol |

I think they're only testing him with all the ladies anne to see who he has chemistry.
I'm also hearing that Kate & Daniel get pretty hot and heavy. And Chelsea has a major crush on him. And I'm sure Lexie will be unable to resist her urges and jump his bones. |

Did I tell all of you that EJ and I went to law school together??? I was really peeved at him for deciding against opening a practice with me, and opting
instead for auto racing. He obviously blew the millions of $ he made in that career, and he's lost his touch as a golden business man. Now he's relying
on the trust Stephano set up for him. Opps, that's discontinued. Goodness, where will he find a job in Salem? I guess he'll finally put that law degree
to use.

I wish Shawn & Belle would leave without Claire. Having John & Marlena raise her. I'll miss the John/Claire scenes.

Friday's episode was really good. I loved the Marlena/Belle/Claire/John scenes-they were some of the best scenes in a long time. The ratings are also up,
which is good thing considering decision time comes soon. I really hope they can redeem Ava-I want her to be around for a really long time. Tamara Braun is
bringing life back into this show.

I thought that both Bo AND Hope were supposed to have had some bad test results after their routine cop physicals? Did they just forget about Hope's part
of the story?

It was just Bo. People thought Hope might be sick too because she was getting ill. Most likely it was just to throw viewers off.

The show was a lot better last week. More flow. Nice end to sweeps.
I am really enjoying the EJ and Sami scenes now. I'm watching more regularly and am actually excited to watch sometimes. Ava is one whacked out woman but I like her already. Payla fans will be calling for her head on a platter though and that sucks because Tamara does bring so much to the show. |
