The Next Losers: JOEL: Does one of his tattoos read "STANLEY" because this guy is a 100% Grade-A TOOL. And Kudos to TRACY for reading and playing him for the Head of Meat he is. Playing on his insecurities about Mikey and making him make the BONEHEAD move to save her alliance when Kathy and Chet were such obvious TOAST. Now Joel has TWO Underdog alliances of 3 to juggle. Good luck with that, HONKING THREAT with an ego trip! Leif Garrett: I mean ERIK. Exposed as Joel's sole confidant. If you can't get to Joel, nix Erik. You lose. JASON and the Argonauts: Left in charge of the soon-to-be-solid JOEL'S CHUMPS Alliance. I like how he commandeered TC away from Probst. Let's discuss it just a little while longer. LURRVED Jeffy's "What the hell are you doing??" then "Roll with it" reaction. He stands up for the RIGHT play while everyone else is trying to pull something off or being sheep. That could spell WINNER in a season of Snakes and Sheep. Jason has an ARAS air about him, pulling the Hippie lovey-dovey crap without Aras's secret manipulations. As such could Ethan a win as the multiple egos go on the warpath all season long. Alexis and Natalie: Sheep. Kathy and Chet: Underdogs and that's about it. Why didn't Kathy remember where clue #FOUR was and just wander off there, leaving the other EI person to do #1-3 and gulping up the HII for herself??? And for that YOU SUCK! Why didn't Kathy tell Ozzy, "It's a big Scavenger Hunt for the Immunity Idol. Cerie and I found 5 or 6 clues leading us all over the place and after searching all day we gave up." And just let Ozzy go after the HII from Clue #1 while she goes straight to Clue #4 and gets the HII for herself. A WORLD of FAIL.

A good season just went to hell, not because of Mikey's boot, but how chopped the entire thing seemed. The challenges went for about 10 minutes each.

I feel like they have been going out of their way to show us negative things about Jason - taking the roof from the smaller group's shelter, gratuitously saying mean things about other players, not understanding Erik's comment about not bashing in to the wall 100 times in a row, etc. Story-wise, I think that means he's going to be around for a while, he's getting some development. But something bad is going to happen to him, probably at the hands of a positively-edited character, and we're going to be happy about it. Interesting that we got the scene last episode about Jonathan feeling sorry for Eliza, which wasn't really much important last week. And now we see Eliza as the commentator for his injury. I wonder if their little story will be that Jonathan asks to be voted out for his injury, when she would have been the next boot. (besides his abrasive personality) I like Jonathan but I think this may be one of the reasons he is rumored to go fairly early. I am liking Ami's game. Not so in your face...Cirie, not so much. I have to love Ozzy and if that stupid "fake" idol is believed to be real by anyone it must be one of the fans and that person must be as dumb as the rock the fake idol is hidden under.

James figured out the scrambled word and Ozzy not only brightly thought of moving many coconuts to the end so the favs won the challenge but found the HII as well. His fake left something to be desired but it apparently does the job. :)

It's Parvati and Cirie's story with Amanda as the little doggy wagging her tail, doing what she is told. Parvati and Amanda have their men and there's a mystery of the "biggest blunder" which we can probably assume will have to do with Ozzy, if not actually be Ozzy. So it boils down to how Cirie can wedge between the couples. All fans are out of the running and their stories are even pretty weak right now. Too bad, I actually liked Alexis. Since the story is telling us it's either Parvati or Cirie, those are the two to watch down to the endgame. So which would you vote for?

She is on the tribe with 3 of the 4 fans that are supposed to make the jury. She will have about 10 more days to bond with these fans than Cirie will have once the merger happens. If she doesn't piss any of them off (and she probably won't since Parvati is good socially), those 3 fans along with James will vote for her to win. Thats 4 out of 7 votes and that is enough for Parvati to win.

For example, if the final three was 1 fan and 2 faves, one might believe that the fan deserves to win, since they made it this far without the benefit of previous Survivor experience. Or, when weighing two faves, one might reward the one who "shows improvement" over their original season. If Parvati plays exactly the same flirt game, but just lucks up to F3 just because Ozzy/James are stronger players than Adam/Nate, big deal. But if she changes up to an all-female alliance or pulls off some brilliant backstabbing blindside, then perhaps she has shown a greater capacity to outplay.

Benefit - I think Kathy will benefit because she likes being with the faves. Her game-playing morale is low, as she didn't even TRY to find the idol. I don't think she cares about winning at all. Still, she isn't overly weak, and lately she hasn't been all that annoying (to viewers), so that's why I go with Kathy. Hurt - I think James will be hurt be a switch since his social game is weak. Plotwise - Joel is toast. No way he wins this thing. Tracy might win. Alexis has ability. Erik is thinking long term. If a Fan is to win, it's probably one of those three. I don't think either Cirie or Jonathan (ignoring the injury for now) will get to the Final 3. Ozzy I could see getting there.

Before although she may not have been the most popular, she had an allience of 3 with one power player in the group (Tracy) who was looking out for her. In the swap she gets seperated from them and is stuck with Jason who has obvious dislike for her. Although Kathy does seem to love the faves, she is going to be on a tribe with none of the one's she's had interaction with. She's probably a James fan although she only would have seen a few of his episodes. As for Eliza, Jonathan and Parvati I don't know if Kathy will be that excited about them. They were portrayed in their seasons as annoying, traitor and flirt respectively. Also, Jason, Natalie and Alexis seem to be tight; James and Parvati are together; and Eliza and Jonathan sortof have an allience. Kathy is the odd man out. She obviously needs to team up with one of the groups (but who is going to take her in?)

While painful, that didn't look like leg losing injury. I think it is Chet who gets evacuated and Eliza is talking about him post-swap. He's the big ball of goo. This Jonathan saving twist seems a lot like the Gina saving twist of S4.

Having just watched most of the first ep. again on You Tube(LOVE U TUBE!), Parvati gets the winner(or finalist, certainly) opening quotes. "I'm gonna play no holes barred." "In the first season, I was just edited as a flirt. I had no dimension. I am here to win." That's her million $ quote right there. And then of course we see her throwing herself all over James, more or less undercutting everything she has just stated so forthrightly... ___________________________________________________________________ I agree that how she gets rid of James is crucial to her winning, IF she wins. And yes, it's the Cerie and Parvati show. Cerie thinks she can win against Parvati and Amanda...I think any one with a family and children, like Sandra, is always going to be chosen over someone who is single. In China Todd and Amanda and Courtney all made sure there were all singletons in the Final 3. ___________________________________________________________________ I don't think anyone can win against Cerie, in the end, if she does get there. Unless she proves herself to be the Uber Villainess that she's started to be depicted as... ___________________________________________________________________ And her editing may be negative, but I don't think a jury of mostly favorites is going to give a million $ to Parvati, the flake who's changed up her game...This isn't the Academy giving an Oscar to a stripper...Isn't Cerie a nurse? The rumor of her being removed from the game seems questionable at best. If she isn't removed she'd likely dominate challenges vs the rumored remaining contestants. If Alexis makes F3 I'd wager that's because she wins the F3 challenge. I can't see the Fave's carrying a Fan. The vote would be very similar to Guateamala. From game play I'd take take Cirie over Amanda and Parvati any day...and I wouldn't want someone that good in the F3 with me. ...Actually I sort of think it will be 3 Faves, with the Fan leaving precisely beacuse the Fave's know they'd have no shot.

She's an underdog in that situation. In what circumstance would an underdog, able to get past 4 other favorites, not win if up against two favorites, even if one is one of the most favorite people of all time? Then again, someone like Amanda is just fluff. She has no substance and therefore would be seen as just flapping along behind the winds of Cirie and Parvati. And if Alexis were to be in the final 3, thus likely winning, she would have had more substance in her story. Forget edgic for a moment, she's now been somewhat flatter than Danni, Amber, and Vecepia combined. All 3 have had some sort of thematic story by this time. The whole final 3 thing is very odd this season. It's one thing to hand us a final 2, but handing us a final 3? That's why I really honestly don't see it as Amanda-Cirie-Parvati. At the same time, a fan in the final 3 is even stranger because whatever fan that would be would DEFINITELY have gotten a better story by now. It leaves someone like Ozzy in the final 3 who had a great story, enough airtime, and would be more worthy than Cirie or Parvati. But is that going to happen? Kinda makes you think that Probst will pull the rug from under the remaining 3 contestants, saying it's a final 2 this time around.
