We see the Orchid station next week. I assume that where Juliet will get her marching orders from "The Other Woman".

I gotcha, shoeless and aslans. What I was getting at is the O6 were spoiled for us so I never doubted for a second that Kate was one of them. I did wonder why
the spoiler was yanked so quickly but never thought it was incorrect. To those unspoiled it would make you wonder about what Kate was up to, how she
got back, if she was hiding - with the limited info we had on her from the S3 finale.
That promo was for the average viewer who wasn't sure.. so I guess it wasn't that dumb.. If I sound confusing now, try talking to me after another Desmond flashbackforwardtimetravel eppy. |

I wonder if there is no synopsis because the source doesn't know what in the hell was going on enough to try and put it on paper.

I like this episode very much..they're finally giving us some meaty explanation hints. Can't wait to dissect the blackboard stuff.

you can make sense of the blackboard stuff??? scary! |

Nono not me, but I bet my husband can, if it is real mathematics and not gobbledegook

I am not reading any of the spoiler thread.
I just felt like putting a friendly reminder in this thread that in 2 days show-time (on Dec. 26, 2004) the Tsunamis struck the South Pacific area...and though they are in Fiji supposedly and not in the Sunda Trench (which is RIGHT where the earthquake's epicenter was) it doesn't mean the tsunamis won't somehow be related to the show. I will not be reading any responses to this post too...I just wanted to stick this reminder in here. I figure somebody will know what to do with this. I will now go back to not being spoiled. |

Faraday said high intensity electromagntic exposure causes one to have issues when leaving the island. Therefore anybody near the Hatch implosion/meltdown
will have huge issues leaving the island. Chaalie and Eko are dead, I guess this means Locke will have an issue? Also the beachgoers should have certain
exposure as well as they were close enough. I wonder if this is why they can't leave the island. All of the O6 were away from the beach (as was Sawyer) -
Jack, Kate, Hurley, (Sawyer) were lead by Michael, and Sayid, Jin and Sun were on the boat trying to flank them if my memory is correct. It could be nothing
of course, but it is an interesting coincidence.

Coincidence or did the writers have this in mind all along. If the latter, I say well done.

time travel sickness | ||
|
Just a note - I dont think EVERYONE gets the sickness leaving the island - only those that were exposed to radiation or magnetism (LOCKE, Des..) or even some
scientists (I wrote this in another thread) - but it can also be GOIN TO the Island - Minkowski - or whoever he is - got the sickness when they were trying to
get to the island - and had to turn around - SO I dont think it's just leaving the island - AND - Faraday said it was ONLY if they didnt follow the
coordinates exactly... So Maybe that's why Danielle's people were sick? Scientists that may have been exposed to electromagnetism or such - and
entering the iland "wrong" ? Just a thought - Anyone know or remember what Danielle did for a living and why her team was traveling?

Regarding Danielle - the fact that she was pregnant might have kept her away from electro-magnetic/radiation experiments that the rest of the crew could have
been conducting. I dunno. However my O6 theory doesn't account for Aaron. Now could Ethan and Co have injected the baby with something when Claire was with
The Others? Or are babies simply not effected (yeah, poor storytelling). Anyways this would explain why Aaron was off the island without having to kill off
Claire. Claire can't leave, but Aaron can, so she decides that Aaron is better off off the island, even if it's without her.

Danielle and her team were also scientists, I believe and were on some mission. Didn't they initially shipwreck on the island or something? Also, I'm
not sure if Alex was born on the island. I think Danielle already had her baby when she got onto the island.

I know that Claire was captured and by Ethan and the others, but who did we see actually inject her when she was ill and what was their explanation? Some sort
of virus???

The Other Woman spoiler snippets | ||

DarkUFO says there will be no episode synopsis available from his site for this episode...but he'll post snippets. Here are the first two. I see we can
figure out now...where the title came from:
>>1. The others have a therapist. And we find out she was married to Goodwin. 2. Daniel and Charlotte have taken the gas masks and left everyone else to make their way to the new hatch. Source: Post Produxtion@DarkUFO<< |
