You might be right. I was only refering to the animal symbology in between the intro shots, but the intro shots as you say would imply that Ami might not have that big a part. We'll see anyhow.

The Jonathan-Ami-Eliza-Yau Man alliance is grouped together and the Couples alliance is grouped together -- save for Parvati, who's separated from them and has her intro shot before the 1st person voted out, JFP.

So I always love the Intro spec, because as a film student, I love analyzing symbolism and editing. I mean, everything in editing is a choice. Scott Duncan is picking a clip to represent a person's entire experience in the game, and while he may not do it intentionally, he could be choosing things without realizing it. Things sticking out to me: Alexis's picture -- no fire or water. Amy's picture -- no fire or water. Amanda's picture -- the closest to having nothing in it (the water is very still) I would say Amy/Alexis Final 2, but since it's most likely a Final 3, maybe Amanda's in there? I know it makes no sense storywise. Amy's intro sure is boring though. She's just walking and her picture is almost out of focus. BUT -- she's one of the few people looking into the camera. Since the credits usually showcase the winner's tribe in a victorious/positive manner, then I'm guessing a Fan will win. No one is seen really struggling in Airai's sequence -- they're competing, moving. In Malakal -- Yau Man is being tackled, Jonathan is drowning, Amanda is shown falling with an "eek!" face. I think a fan will win this whole thing. And yes, the blatant Alexis/stingray imagery is sticking out to me. It's a beautiful shot, her hovering over the water almost. Hers is the crispest of the still photos, too. Maybe I'm just biased, because she's from Austin (where I live). :) That being said -- Parvati's intro sticks out to me, along with her edit up to this point. She looks very sneaky in her shot. In episode 1, she has the "winner" quote of "I didn't come back here to not win" or something. We were also hand fed a lot of her scheming, and it seems like the story writers are trying to focus really hard on her humor. Maybe we'll have our first "in your face" female winner? He may well have a significant part to play this season, and looking at his intro shot, I'd put him in the final three rather than Amanda, who is seen falling.

In the ep 2 challenge they had to go back to the beach before the next person went out. And Jeff was standing on the beach during that challenge not on a dock in the water. Jonathan has no facepaint on as they do in the ep 3 challenge promos which is why I think from a future challenge. Although to know for sure will have to see the ep tonight.

But he's definitely struggling -- look at those eyes, for petessake, haha. Btw -- the intro order changed tonight. Mary & Jon were removed, and people were RE-arranged. Alexis was moved, Tracy was switched. Joel is now 16th from the bottom, not Tracey. Gag. I guess the intro is going to shrink every week.
