Has anyone ever been booted from Survivor because of a slow Taxi Driver?
No. I think not. |

Only when people like TK/Rachel and Eric/Danielle WIN the season.

If you've seen one season of TAR, you've seen them all.

If you've seen one season of TAR, you've seen them all. Could not agree more with this statement! |

Bunching has destroyed my interest in the Race, the HII was on Survivor also, until the producers changed the rules.

I don't like TAR,it's boring
I'm suprised that TAR won so many Emmys these years. |

I've never gotten invested in a season of TAR the way I do most Survivor seasons.

Survivor has better rewatch value, is better to have a discussion about and usually has better contestents

It's not that Survivor has better contestants, it's just that they sit around fighting and whatev whereas on Amazing Race they're constantly running around doing stuff so there's not really time for drama/personality stuff. But Amazing Race has all the awesome locations and tasks so it balances out. |

Perhaps, but TAR3 had the racing element AND weird breakdowns/fights

Hmm, interesting question. I love both, so it would really have to depend on which seasons we are talking about.

I think they're both good shows. Both contain an element of "unfairness".. In Survivor you get various twists that can screw you over, in TAR there's MUCH MORE opportunity.. and even the fact that you have old couples RACING against fit young twenty-somethings isn't really fair. Oh and it's not a coincidence that a female/female team has NEVER won TAR in 12 seasons. So yeah it's just hard for me to get into TAR when there are so many disappointments. |

TAR is the best thing going TODAY. Survivor is usually only good every third season.

The best seasons of TAR are a lot better than the best seasons of Survivor. At least when the people left are completely boring or annoying, you can still
enjoy and love the locations (ala TAR6). In Survivor, if you hate the final couple of castaways, you're pretty much screwed until the next season.
