Was Matt really genuinely mad at Jimmy when he told him that they had run out of time? If so then that is the funniest thing ever.

Didja notice the completely unnecessary overly-verbose introduction listing everything Damon had done since the second grade?

Yes that was funny. I was expecting him to start saying things like winner of his 4th grade science fair or winner of his middle school punt pass and kick
competition.

The guy with Charlie is Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy.
Apparently Harrison Ford still has that bumper sticker on his car.

Countdown to the 1 year anniversary of the last post about this show.
OK actually Jimmy Kimmel has done classic comedy. But I want to air a couple grievances with this show. Jimmy Kimmel's comedy is becoming way way too stale. He's had the FCC bleeps and blurs thing what, 4 years now? I still get a laugh out of it once in awhile but please, not even David Letterman would keep a running joke for 4 years! Seriously what is up with his weird ass obsession/nepotism with his family and friends or coworkers? Honestly, the Guillermo thing, was funny for about a couple months. However in my opinion Guillermo is not funny, he's not charming, he's fat, and any skit where he's not talking to a celebrity are total wastes of time. Sometimes I wonder, are we supposed to be laughing at or with his various family and friends. When I see Uncle Frank make dumb remarks about the economy, am I laughing at the content of those remarks or am I laughing at the ramblings of an idiot? And is it fair to put your Uncle in a position where he can be mocked time and again on national TV? And Veatrice the security guard, what does she add really? A mean old African American lady who just swears and says nothing ever really that funny? Thats not helping the image of African American women at all, it's just a ugly negative stereotype. I am just so tired of turning on Jimmy's monologue and hoping for something funny and in between the genuinely funny clips of news anchor gaffes or pratfalls, you get these long boring skits with Jimmys various friends and family that are never that funny! Like the time killing part of the show or something. I have one more grievance with Jimmy Kimmel. The ads within the show now are out of control. I could accept the "Pontiac Music Show" or whatever they call it. I can live with that. But last week I saw Uncle Frank shilling for KY Lubricant and then you have just gone too far pal. Thinking of a 70yr old man using KY is too much to process at midnight. Tonight there was someone eating a Subway sandwich. And that whole thing where they did this big "skitvertisment" for Coke, that was just retarded. Jimmy Kimmel still has one of the most easy going laid back styles of anyone and he makes for a cool interview IMO. So I still watch for that. And he has a blue collar aura about him with a pinch of Hollywood cynicism which is unique and fun. But this show is really losing my interest. I hope ABC would force Jimmy to really go back to the drawing board and try some new characters and try, actually TRY to make some new comedy. Because right now, watching is becoming a broken record.

I fast forward through the Guillermo clips. Those spoofs where Jimmy where would photoshop into real films were unwatchable. His uncle the security guard
isn't funny at all, too.
Still, I like his sense of humor. And he's second only to Ferguson as an interviewer. Anyhow, I'm watching the post-Oscar show in hopes another I'm Fucking Ben Affleck, and he kinda delivered: Mel Gibson as Col. Sanders. It'll be online soon enough, I suspect. |

The Mel Gibson thing was pretty funny.

Just watched the whole segment with Mel Gibson and it was all funny. Talking about Mel being a practical joker Jimmy says "I think my favorite one was of
you acting drunk with those cops...you really pulled on over on those guys" I about busted a gut. The movie trailer was hysterical. Did he only do the
two movies (The Curious Case of Benjamin Batman -gigglesnort-) and the intro with douchebag Cruise?

Okay all things considered Jimmy Kimmel is still the man.

Anybody catch the ep where Ben Stiller brought along the largest camel on the face of the planet?
Which then proceeded to pee all over the set? Sure I know it was him hawking his new film, but dammit incontinent camels always bring the funny. |

The camel was hilarious.
I completely agree with the Guillermo hate. Unfortunately, Jimmy feels the need to use him throughout the ENTIRE show. |

Guillermo is CUTE!!!
Uncle Frank is CUTE!!! |

I hate both of them. Any skit involving either is immediate fast forward territory. Weird, because the rest of the show is usually outstanding.
But the one time Guillermo is useful happened tonight. Kimmel invites the new national spelling bee champ to the show. He has Guillermo pronunciate the words. "Vegetate" becomes "Beegalsate." The poor kid tonight was pleading for Dr. Bailey. But she beat him, figuring out that zirsomexchant was circumvent. Great stuff. Seeing these kids, trained as hard as they are, deal with Guillermo's accent is always comedy gold. |

I've also jumped on the Guillermo hatewagon. I'm not a big fan of Uncle Frank, either.
Cousin Sal is tolerable. Howie Mandel and Rupert Gee were both better at doing the annoying dude with a hidden microphone and camera schtick. |
