Enough beating kids. Kicking a little deaf girl is pretty damn low.

I was going crazy with the computer stuff. Why didn't they just get a microphone to speak into? Joe types slower than my husband. And I didn't think
that was physically possible.

I actually enjoyed this episode (wasn't a big fan of the girl kicking but other than that...) I thought Alison and Joe's relationship was very sweet to
watch especially when he said I love you and THAT she "heard" and said it back and also when she was saying good night on the phone and the shot goes
to Joe listening. They are a very endearing couple.
Ditto to the addition of Keener character; I like the break from the DA situation but funny enough when the showed the clips for next week, I was stoked that she is back in the thick of that also. |

I figured out the step father was involved too. It did become kind of obvious near the end. I'm glad next week doesn't have a kid as the victim. I
thought it was just an ok episode. It had it's weak and strong points as most of you have already pointed out.

I thought the inside job was the lawyer. I do believe that Steven Culp's character was one of the scummiest I've seen on TV in a while.

I guess I am one of the few that doesn't like Anjelica Huston's character, eh? I find her really annoying

I was sure the business partner was the one behind the kidnapping because that actor frequently gets cast as creepy scumbags and they kept him so hidden. Also
Culp's xter was screaming red herring, but I guess they were going for a double fakeout there. Got me.
Yeah, Joe's typing was pretty annoying. Don't engineers have to type? |

Best opening of a Medium episode ever?
Loved the moths flying out of her coin purse. I bet they totally spent the bucks to duplicate 1920's special effects exactly. Too bad it was obvious from the first dream that Daddy didn't do it, plus we get another striking psychokiller redhead. I was left with the vague sensation that they've done this plot before. Meanwhile, somebody remind me: didn't Ali pick off Watts the defense attorney with a hooker or something? |

^ It was done before. there was a famous specialist or prosecuter that had gone out and killed some criminals because he felt that they had gotten away with
the crimes they committed, orsomething like that.
But I felt that the last scene was very haunting for several reasons. The obvious was why the girl would kill her stepmother and then frame it on her sister and then force her father to take the fall (well, the father had his motives for protecting his daughter but what was the motive of his other one). Also I think the sisters might be back in the future since Alison said she would be watching her. I think that may be foreshadowing of an upcoming episode - maybe not in this season but in the next - where the redhead sister commits another crime and this time cannot pin it on some one else. |

I agree 100%, burnettfollower. I liked this episode, and I'm just glad the show seems to be back. It sounds like last week's inspired more posts. I was
searching for the show and didn't catch it.

One plot problem for me--everyone else seems to be worried about being associated or seen with Allison, but the defense attorney/former nemesis doesn't
seem to mind that people know Allison is now on his team--just seems odd and inconsistent. Wouldn't he be worried that it might hurt his case to
associated with a psychic?

Juston is old hollywood with big-time crack connections. They have to put her somewhere. Look at the retreads they are dumping on Boston Legal. |

Well, it's obvious that the other sister is a psycho. She said she killed the nurse because she tattled on the girls to the parents all the time. She said
she killed the step mother because she wanted to send her to college and the other to a mental facility so she could have the father all to her self.

are we supposed to now be subliminally programmed that the obvious 'John McCain' character chowed down on someone? Bleh...... this was a really gross
one. But the guy had a point at the end -- instead of just dying in the corner, 5 other lives were saved to go on and save others. The biggest problem was
the dingbat decides to organize a little murder party during the same time he starts hanging out with a psychic.
Same thing with the Dad & the daughters -- he has to realize that Alison is going to pick up something :: why let your attorney risk it? When the hell did Bridg turn into such a chubster? I know she was always a little chunky, but she's totally shopping in the "Huskies" section now. And why does wardrobe INSIST on putting her in snug clothes?!?!?! |

Not only that, but the guy was played by Gregory Itzin -- the traitorous President Logan from 24.
Still, I doubt this was intentional. Presuming the ep was written months ago, McCain was out of the race then. Weird ep. It's almost as if Ali decided to let him go. Which is fine for the initial murder of the GI, but killing a blackmailer? That's not something she'd let slip. Anyhow, the killing a guy to survive story has happened in real life -- back in the sailing days, sailors would get stranded in life boats for weeks and have to resort to cannibalism determined by drawing straws. I don't think anyone ever got convicted. Two eps in a row now with no killer cuffed & tossed in the clink. I do like the way they're handling the RL consequences of having a psychic working for you. Ah Bridget. Now taking her annoyance powers on an international tour. |

loved it, loved it, loved it.... best show on television. They have Joe in boxers and Allison in a bubble bath. Joe drops kids off at school, Allison sips on a
beer. This show keeps it real! Oh, and love the overall storylines too! ;)

Stop making fun of Bridget's weight. She's a kid, fer chrissakes. Give her a break.

Speaking of weight, Alison looks much more trimmed down between last ep and this one...

I'm not making fun of her, just channeling my frustrations from childhood. I WAS Bridget, and the most horrific part of that time is the tons of
photos/home movies/etc that allow me to re-live the super-snug stretch clothes my mother put me in (and it was the '70's, so you KNOW there were some
wild & wacky patterns going on)...
I just feel that sometimes it seems they're accentuating her weight by putting her in the snug pajamas instead of nightgowns or something a bit less clingy. And I can just imagine 10 yrs from now she's not going to enjoy looking back at the show without cringing just a little. |
