Worrying & Waiting while hopeful next week...not so much suffering...if ya still think you have a chance.
Knowing you were passed up all of next week...that's suffering. I don't think anyone's really questioning your call...as much as your motives for telling about your call! |

Don't worry about what people say...especially going into a mental challenge like The Mole! Stick to your excitement!...you have alot to be
"thrilled" about...don't let anyone ruin this moment for you! It's probably best for you to stay secretive or atleast "practice"

Scott Wissner was my casting guy (yes...evidently there was another Scott)...and straight from his mouth when I called him after my video got sent...AND AFTER YOUR FIRST POST..."no...we haven't finished the callbacks....just relax and you'll hear from us by next week..".) and from my experience (7 semi-finals from Survivor, Amazing Race, Do you Trust Me, Big Brother etc.), I am going to believe Scott on this one...too fast for them to decide on everyone that fast. So....Mr. I'm just trying to help everyone from suffering...I thought you went back on your previous email when you tried to hedge your bet by saying, "I never said callbacks had ended" thing....well it sure sounds like that load of crap is flying outta your face right now doesn't it? Make up your mind dude... If y'all believe this dork then fine...I'm just trying to help you...he's trying to get you discouraged... Here's an idea....call your casting people yourself!!! Have them prove me right! Everyone that made it to the video stage call your guy/girl and also call Mystic Arts to verify...then make sure to stick it in Spring's fat little face...hehehe |

I can confirm what springchicken has said. I got my call on Thursday letting me know I was invited to the studio next weekend for final interviews. They said
they will contact me again after I fill out the appropriate paperwork. (not 60 pages/I had to sign a release, and fax that as well as my passport on Friday)
The rest of the packet in the e-mail has to be sent on Monday to them.
ETA: I was an open call applicant. notaspringchicken is likely hoping beyond hope but i wouldn't say it's impossible that others will hear next week, if that's what mr. scott wisner says.

ok guys and gals. Not to say that this person is not telling the truth, he could be. But a few things strikes me as funny. First off, I am not an
interviewee, I am in the business, I helped to recruit some folks for this show, I do not work for MysticArt, but I have known Kat Raphael for a long time.
One thing I will say that does not make sense is that Kat, and especially Kate, do not do the initial interviews. Kat used to do interviews for past shows,
but has since been promoted Anyone could get those 3 names off of the MA website to sound "official", and he could be a finalist. I do not know
the time frame as it does not concern me, but so you all know. People in the business do monitor these boards, and people from MA here right now. If this
person is truly a finalist, and very few have been called, it will be addressed at his interview. Hold tight to your hopes and dreams, and good luck.
PS 2 of the people I recruited will be finalists and they have not been told yet. |

I wasn't going to post anything but my account is very similar to chicken's and maybemole's. Called thursday, had to send one signed paper and my
passport thru fax to mystic art on friday (25 pages bro? that's expensive) The guy above is full of shit I obviously wouldn't write anything here if I
was worried about mystic art seeing this---he's obviously making shit up about knowing producers etc. but yeah I do have more of a life than to just ruin
people's hopes by lying on here. I set up an interview in LA.

It's good to hear people are starting to get calls. I think seeing that the 3 people that got calls are from LA might speak to the fact they did those
first. At least that's the hope! I called and spoke to my contact and my video (after the interview) was being edited together with my interview on
Wednesday morning and was told it would be in the cue for Friday. Not sure what that means, but we'll see! Good luck to the 3 of you getting on the show!

why do you idiots believe everything thats posted on here? anyone could come post whatever they wanted about making it/not making it, even people who
didn't even interview. i still think them calling everyone the day after the videos are due seems a bit off to me, but hell what do I know? still hopeful
they'll call next week.

I don't know about all this crazy drama going on here -- seems a little unnecessarily hostile toward nice people who are just trying to share their experience and their excitement. (Although if this is any indication, it bodes for a very intense and fascinating Mole season!) Personally, I am genuinely thrilled for the folks who got calls! I must admit that I am a bit pea-green, as pickled peppers often are, but my excitement for you trumps my jealousy, I promise. If you can, I know we would love to hear a little bit about your experience in L.A. next week! Good luck! |

Cripes!!! This is too much fun. So many trying to out-mole each other. Who to believe? My passport hasn't arrived yet, even though I paid through the nose to get it expedited. Uh oh. Hope this doesn't mess me up on the off chance I get called. Some not-a-rocket-scientist guy posted his audition video in his blog complete with his home phone, address and copyrighted music. I may have to call him up after I check on my passport to see what he has heard.

is a person who I will believe based on how many posts and how accurate they have been in the past. Wish, who is telling the truth, the people who are taking
sides with Spring Chicken, or the person who said they know the producers and recruited some people for the show? Either way this board has gotten to be funny
to read every day! The one thing for sure I believe is that there are people from MysticArt here and that if Stan and Liz are real names, that was pretty
stupid!
