If this is the actual location, then I am very impressed with the scouting team. After a 1 season break, they're going back to an inland location (which
often happen to be my favorites). So like China, the emphasis will be more on the place and not a gimmick like fans vs. favorites or a big focus on EI.

Congo is a separate country in Africa. Congo's official name is Republic of Congo and the other Congo is also called Democratic Republic of Congo, which
the name Zaire was used from 1971-1997.

Gabon is the country I was mentioning several years ago that would be ideal for Survivor. They turned large expanses of their country into parks and nature
preserves and have miles and miles of unspoiled beaches including ones that elephants visit and frolic in the ocean.
Gabon in National Geographic Quote: Gabon information Wonder if it'll be in the Savannah, or the rainforests or the jungle or on a river. Maybe they'll be near the surfing hippos? |

Yeah, no way will they be anywhere NEAR where hippos freely wander.
