No, it was more of a drunken make-out session, Juggler. Complete with vomiting mid-make-out.

Bottom line is I think it slipped out because he was drunk- he passed out completel half an hour later. And what's up with the "brothas"? |

That's point. It wasn't said to my husband- or any other black person- had it been, it would have been offensive.I think you need to reread mine. Obviously you didn't understand what I was getting at. If it's offensive to say in front of them, what's the difference. It shouldn't be said at all. See where I was going with that? So you're saying it's OK to make ignorant comments just as long as it's behind someones back. Too funny. Brothas? Don't tell me that upset you? case in point. Thanks that's all I wanted to know. |

Quotegasm coming, sorry but this is a surprisingly civil debate…
You really have to look at the context... The N-word is so watered down it is interchangeable with "dude" Thanks for Xing my post but I wouldn't have gone that far, I don't think it's "interchangeable" but I do get what you're saying. I winced when he said it, I didn't get offended really nor did I think it was definitive of him being a racist. Stupid and inappropriate yes, but most of the shit they say is stupid and/or inappropriate. Hell - most of the shit posted on this board falls into that category. I'm white but that's exactly how I felt as well. Nice post. But I think why people care that James said it is because they weren't expecting such a phrase to come out of James's mouth because of all people he has the most reason to not be prejudiced based on not wanting others to judge him for his life experience. Good point. He seems like one of the most genuine guys in the house, regardless of his porn etc. And it was surprising, like maybe he's colorblind, as someone else said, to not think the phrase is bad? Doubt it. If Parker had been there, I don't think he would have. Doesn't make it racist to me, just immature. Someone else said how phrases and words are racist… If it was said in an offensive way and I think that's true. When you hear it, you know the difference. |

My only thought at first was that the he used the phrase in the first place since it was in the wrong context of the conversation. He WANTED Ryan to come bang
on his door to talk to him if he ever needed to. The phrase means ring and run so I was thinking "huh"? Why would he want him to run? Ruminating
in the wee hours of the morn.

They're still scum. But I do have to give them credit for thinking strategically.

Aero....maybe "interchangeable" wasn't the correct description. Slang words now have their own slang these days. The N word no longer means exclusively what it was intended to mean when it was originated and we become desensitized. I've seen/heard AA's using the N word in a manner that is similar to Caucasians saying "dude"...only because I do watch movies, TV shows and other media that are comprised of AA actors and comedians....such as Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapelle...etc, etc. I enjoy all genre from many ethnic backgrounds. Ex: N****, whatchu talkin' about? vs. Dude, whatha hell are you talkin' bout? .....I've heard them both. Dude has never had the stigma of being a racially charged ugly word...so I do apologize if it seemed that I was comparing these two words on that level. But it does get thrown around very casually such as dude (Dude in itself has many meanings depending on the punctuation, tone or context in a sentence) |

These two won't have to win the show to get lots of money. They will make a killing doing porn with each other after the show is over.
