Liz just continues to demonstrate her mono-vision each time she opens her mouth. It's pretty bad to complain about "liberal bias" as your
arguement about a paper in a historically liberal city in a historically liberal "blue" state. If she doesn't want liberal bias maybe she should
move to:
insert "red" state here
Then maybe she'd have accolades for the journalism.
I personally don't think she has lived long enough yet or had enough adversity in her life to understand that life is not black and white/or right and
wrong.

I was watching today's hot topics and found Elizabeth to be hypocritical at best. I always she was biased and unwaivering (although i don't know if
unwaivering is the right word), but the fact that she attacked the N.Y. Times, and not The Republic for questioning McCain's fidelity. Like attack all of
the newspapers for printing the story not just one.
And please Babwa shut the fuck up about your special. It's been going on for three weeks now that you won't stop talking about it. I suppose tomorrow you are going to remind us one more time that it's on and then to some stupid recrap of it on Monday. But how much more can you keep talking about it before driving your viewers to the brink of insanity. |

But the Whoopi love was nice though. I hadn't noticed she was left out of the Oscar host montage until they pointed it out today. |

It was so endearing at how Whoopi got choked up when they mentioned why wasn't she shown in the montage of past Oscar hosts and how she was the first and
only host to win an Oscar, etc. She really felt it and eventhough she didn't say it, but you can see in her face that she felt slighted. Did they show
Chris Rock in the montage??? I don't think they did.

The Oscars also didn't include Renfro in the tribute thing, but they included like nobodies who worked on hair and makeup or whatever, and their reason was
"no time". WTF!

Okay I just watched the clip via the link posted and i actually got kinda teary at how hurt then touched Whoopi was when her cohosts showed their support for
her. I mean it is Black History month and there was no mention of the first Black female host AND the first host to have won an Oscar. Did it not even DAWN on
them that Whoopi is currently and regularly on tv and this would come up on her show?
The Oscar committee fucked up on this one. |
