1. Asia'h - the only one who really stoked me
2. Alexandrea - creative song choice, reminds me of Des'ree 3. Alaina - loved the song, loved vocals 4. Ramiele - subdued but confident vocals 5. Syesha - good song, but behind the tempo and a little yelly 6. Amanda - the Skunk Rocker was messy, messy, messy , but points for creativity 7. Carly O'Pimperson- good vocals, but no presence, and horrific song selection 8. Brooke - I just like her happy little vibe 9. KKKristy - nothing special 10. 1. Alaina - complete shocker! she's very current and delivered the whole way through
2. Alex - awesome...full of charisma and a really interesting voice; her attitude could get in the way if she isn't careful 3. Asiah - great performance and energy but I suspect she'll be eliminated earlier than expected 4. Syesha - best vocals but I find her canned and boring 5. Amanda - bad song choice left it a mess, but she clearly has potential 6. Carly - her face is difficult to look at on screen, and her vocals/styling are just okay 7. Kristy - she was better when all was said and done 8. Ramiele - I thought she was very average..her voice is limited 9. Kady - performance was okay but irrelevant - worse yet was the sour demeanor upon hearing the criticism 10. Joanne - I've never liked the tone of her voice and I still don't 11. Brooke - I had high hopes for her but that was not good at all HUGE GAP 12. Amy - what complete cannon fodder - just insane she would sing that song in such a boring, monotone way - goodbye B/H/G: Amy and Joanne |

1) Ramiele - haha, I'm biased, but it's a really, really good performance of just one of my favorite songs of all time... plus she's a hottie.
(recently been listening to the Shelby Lynne version...) And damn she's a perfect sweetheart.
2) Syesha - Tobacco road... I hate the song. But she sang it well. Powerhouse. Plus she has the best BODY in the competition, hands down. Drop dead... like a damn CARTOONl. Those legs and that chest? Are you kidding me? And also a sweetheart with a terrific smile. 3) Amanda - very good. I love everything about her. But a little mailed in (I thought she'd be better) 4) Carlie - Yeah, maybe she should be higher... but I hate that stupid song, and it was boring. I didn't enjoy it as much as all that. Too much yelling, not enough softness. No subtlety. She BELLOWS. 5) Kady Molloy - Could she try NOT FROWNING all the time? She looks like a total bitch there on the sidelines. She's a powerhouse. I loved her vocals. I think she and Danny have the most powerful natural instruments in the 24. But the performance was lifeless I agree. Why wouldn't she get the frown off her face??? Damn, is she trying to drive away voters? STOP FROWNING!!! DAMMIT, you're gonna get VOTED OFF IF YOU KEEP DOING THAT!!!! 6) Asiah - I didn't get it. It was good. OK. 6) Alaina - Energetic, fun, cute. Enjoyable. 6) Brooke - joy and happiness - I love her. Seems really genuine. I know a girl like her. Not as much power available in her voice as I'd want. 9) Alexandrea - energy, but little all over the place. I agreed with Simon. Out of breath vocals... sounded like Jamie Fox singing as a woman... 10) Kristy - Pageant terrible. 11) Amy - I like her, very cute. but that song choice was terrible. 12) Joanne - horrible, lifeless. Sharp too, most of the song. Men were better overall than the women. Maybe it was the flu. HEART - Amy, Joanne, Kristy, wanting Amy to stay. BRAIN - Amy, Joanne, Kristy, with Kristy deserving to stay. GUT Kristy, Amy, Joanne, with Joanne staying, because of the plus size vote. If it weren't for the Britney spears impersonation scene, I think Kady would be going tonight because she comes off as such a bitch. |

Not as impressed as we should have been. I do not think this is the most impressive cast ever. I actually thought some of the best talent came from season 5,
although the winner was unfortunately the least talented of the bunch.
In any case (I didn't bother with the guys since they all sucked except for Michael). And what the hell is up with the song choices? No Aquarius? No Lovin' Spoonful? HORRIBLE song choices by everyone! 1. Syesha-by far the best!!! 2. Ramielle-nice job, I would like to see her jump around a bit though. 3. A'siah-not sure how to spell her name, but she surprised me 4. Alaina-somewhat boring, but surprisingly pretty good 5. Carly-it's okay for her not to be #1 right now. Watch her get better and better (but then again, I said the same thing about Sundance last season). <GAP> 6. Alexandria-not a bad performance, she moved around, but the vocals were not that great 7. Brooke-not horrible, but I was somewhat disappointed-she looked awkward without an instrument <BIG GAP> 8. Kady-I actually thought the vocals were very good, but there was something terribly wrong with her tonight-something wasn't kosher 9. Amanda-I have to admit, the song was a total mess and there wasn't even any real vocals 10.Kristy-complete disappointment, she's going to have step it up BIG time 11. Joanna-everything was off-the vocals, the key, the arrangement, etc-just horrible 12. Amy-ugh, what WAS that? If this is the season that is supposed to have the best talent, where is it?
