I have heard you can get as much as a weeks or so notice, and as little as a day or two. Who knows. I am assuming they have been going through videos but
still have a bunch to go through. I bet mid next week we will start hearing, and since the deadline got extended, they will probably push LA back a week or
so. Just a guess though.

^I agree with SEG. I would think that people would be called probably next week...I'm assuming they will have to push LA back a week as well, just for
those people who work (which is probably a good 95% of applicants!)

A brief mention on someone's blog: So I'm currently working on casting for ABC's "The Mole". This is the last week I'll be on this project but it has been fun while it lasted. I traveled with Scott, who was great to work with, to Chicago and Philadelphia.Over at the molecasting site it still looks the same, but behind the scenes they have added some celeb pics. My favo is: 
She would make a brilliant host.

Her name was Laina Rose. She was cute, and Scott was nice too. Scott walked up up from the lobby and she ran the interview. From what others told me, the
opposite was true. Interesting she posted that on her blog.

I won't say what location I went to for confidentiality purposes, but Scott was a casting director and he did have a partner. He was funny and kind of a
goofball.
By the way, why does the Mole Casting site have images of celebrities? Makes you wonder.

I agree, Scott was a goofball, but in a cool sort of way. I've made it pretty clear I was in Philly. I have given nothing away nor will I, that will
compromise the casting. Heck, Laina's blog gave away more than most people on this board. I would not have even said her name if she hadnt posted it on
her own blog. She told me that she and Scott came from Chicago to Philly.
I agree, why in the world do they have all these celebrities on the website. Hope it is not a mix of celebs and real people. THat would suck |

I personally think that those celebrities are way too "A list" to be contestants on The Mole. I don't see Jennifer Lopez or Nicole Kidman even
considering doing this show. Of course the ONLY exception is Bjork. She does not seem to fit in with all the others. Also, why are they all ladies? I dont see
them choosing a female host for this show either.

Well, Kat Von Dee might not be "A" list.... although it would be really cool if she was the host. Honestly, I would love Kathy Griffin as the host.
That would be the best possible host I can imagine!

Oh, and there's the Chicago radio station logo too. (???) And there's the one fingerprint that has 3 lines on it, and I thought maybe it meant that

long shot here, but is there anyone here who was affiliated with one of the past seasons of the mole who can give insight to those who applied who long filming
takes (I know they say 8 weeks, but I can't imagine that it would take 8 weeks to eliminate 7 people to leave the final 3)..

It says 6-8 weeks I believe? I think it'll be closer to 6 than 8. I don't believe that whole 10 contestants thing...I think that was a guess...and I
think it will be closer to 14-16
