I'm kind of done w/ B&S | ||
|
Last night's episode was too much of a redux. Same Walker dinner spat with a few additions. The fact that McAllister doesn't want to have any more
children should be a bigger fucking deal. That is a dealbreaker. Marriages end over shit like that. And Kitty didn't have the reaction I thought
she'd have with would have been devastation. It seems as if almost every issue was glossed over in last night's episode. Quite frankly, Baitz and
Berlanti absence is felt, especially Berlanti. The show has veered off from what made it a great show last season. Granted I was never really a fan of
Kitty's water down Republican tirades, I'm even less of a fan of McAllister's holier than thou Republican bid for the presidency. And it seem like
they handle his security detail differently for every occasion. Sometimes it's overbearing and then most of the time it's non-existent. Plus, it
kills me that he has so much freaking time to socialize with Kitty's family when we all know there's not a chance in hell he'd have time for
anything when he's running a national campaign like that. I'm also not sure where the hell they are taking his presidential bid. I'm tired of
this being a pre-West Wing show whenever they turn to his campaign. Kitty has pretty much abandoned her Anne Coulter side and in turn her dramatic conflict
with her Kevin and Nora. I'm just not excited to see the show as I once was and it's sad that the sophomore slump has hit this show hard. I don't
see where they're going to go from here or maybe I just don't want to anymore.

Sarah had an emotional affair with that black guy. I don't remember Justin or Kitty cheating, however.Sarah chose to avoid temptation, which gives her a big pass in my book. Kitty cheated on her fiance. Justin cheated on his girlfriend Tyler. If Berlanti was playing more of a role, probably the only difference would be more drinking and more family bickering. That's possibly what led the show down the path of malaise in the first place, although the sense of apathy this season isn't his doing. |

I kept waiting for one of the Walker kids to tease Nora for having jungle fever. It was most satisfying that that never happened.

Take it from someone who just got dumped by someone who had an emotional affair - its effects are no different from swapping spit. Opting not to take it physical just means she got scared. She chose her husband and children over a fling with a man. I would say that was very different from Joe shoving his tongue down her sister's throat. |

I love this show, STILL!!!
I don't know why people are still so quick to hate on it. It is still the one show that I will not sit at my computer and watch. I focus my attention entirely on this, week to week. It is just well written...and I gotta be honest, my sister and I talk just like they do...and I have 7 cousins whose interactions are exactly like the one's between the siblings. |

K I honestly tune in every episode to see how like a new conflict can either end Kitty/Rob Lowe's relationship or Rob's bid for presidency and EVERY
week it seems like the conflict keep getting resolved and Kitty/Rob get closer and the senator's chances of winning grow bigger... Like WTF? Where are they
planning to take all this if everything is going so well for these two? They cant really be serious about making Kitty the First Lady and everything. That
would be absolutely crazy unreal and would completely fuck the show over.
Rob Lowe is a CANCER for B&S. He's killing the show. I hate him. DIE. |

I thought tonight was GREAT!!!
Reasons: Love the sexual/verbal tension with Sarah/New Dude -- Steven Webber I think is his name LOVED the scene with Kevin/Scotty/Jason -- soo funny. <3 Scotty to death Sally Field is a genius Not much Robert/Kitty to blah the episode We might have gotten rid of Lena Julia showed she might have "some" acting skills :) Overall - loved it. Thank god for some scripted tv. |

As much as I hate to say this...I believe tonight's episode made me realize this show has jumped the shark, and I'd be surprised if it's back next
year. It just doesn't "have it" anymore.

As much as I hate to say this...I believe tonight's episode made me realize this show has jumped the shark, and I'd be surprised if it's back next year. It just doesn't "have it" anymore. It has pretty decent ratings, it isn't going anywhere, most likely. There may be some backstage shakeups, or there should be. Good riddance to Lena. Now I hope she can take Reverend Smug with her, and Senator Smug. They are the same character and drag down everyone. I also wish Weber could cut his hair. After what was going on earlier this season I wasn't sure if we would ever see anything close to making out between the gays, so that was a nice surprise. |

Despite lackluster ratings last night, this has officially been renewed for next season. It will also return for an as-yet-undetermined number of new episodes
in April/May.

I echo pretty much everyone else. This season is not as good as the first season. It seems the cast is more separate this year than they are together. I love
Steven Webber on the show and him and Sarah are good together. Good riddance to Lena, and glad they nipped it in the butt by saying she wouldn't come back
to bring about a lawsuit.
There may be some backstage shakeups, or there should be.Between who? I read they all get along very well, or is it more on the creative side? |
